The property was beautiful and very maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Air conditioning was great. The heated plunge pool was amazing. The staff are all helpful and polite. The food and drinks were all delicious and big portions. My favourite part was being in the middle of nature and being able to see some of the incredible wildlife that Costa Rica has. This place is a wonderful place to relax. We definitely didn't want to leave because we loved it so much.

We absolutely loved our time at Amalu Monteverde. We stayed in the Black Haus and it was superb. The view is stunning and the property is designed to make the most of it with wall to ceiling windows and a great sun deck. We really enjoyed the hot tub (not normally our thing) while the sun was setting and knew that this was one of those places we would never forget and for all the right reasons. Excellent accommodations photos don’t do it justice. The views are amazing, house very well equipped with two bathrooms. Host very helpful and communication was excellent. I would love to return one day

This is one of the most amazing places we've stayed - beautiful rooms, beautiful location, beautiful food and beautiful staff - muchas gracias!

We spend 2 nights at Chira Glamping. The pod is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the jacuzzi listening to the birds. Perfect! We dined at their restaurant on our first night which was spectacular. Breakfasts were relaxed. We also used the concierge service to book a night walking tour and a cloud forest tour. We enjoyed these experiences greatly.

We had a wonderful, wholesome stay. The cabin was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen is simple but well-equipped with essentials, and there’s a supermarket a short drive away. The town is less than 15 minutes by car, making it easy to stock up on anything you need. The rooms are quite basic but comfortable, there are a few mosquitos around but you are in a cloud forest so a few creepy crawlies are expected. Esteban is lovely and helped us book tours and transfers, the pancakes were amazing. The laundry service was so reasonable and so fast we got our laundry back and dry within a few hours! Amazing views from property

Hotel Belmar is a food and drink destination as well as being well located for enjoying all Monteverde has to offer. The staff present honest enthusiasm for all the hotel has to offer, and are welcoming and helpful. They can easily arrange taxis for you to any of the local sights (as uber doesn’t operate here). The restaurant is fantastic as well as the craft brewery and their fermented fruit wines. This was one of my favourite experiences ever.

The host Arelys was very helpful in guiding us on everything, whether it was food, or places to visit or anything. She was there everyday to greet us in evening when we were back, just felt like we were staying at home. It was home away from home.

Really helpful friendly staff, picking own salad was good fun. Very comfortable beds and high quality bathrooms. Wildlife in gardens. Excellent set up, stayed with 3 kids aged 8 to 14 who loved it. 15 minute walk to centre of Monteverde for restaurants although a decent Soda and pizzeria 5 minutes walk away.

The room has more than a local 4 stars hotel level quality. Little details show the owner looks after the room very well.

Perfect stay. the hotel was exceptionally clean and the room with the balcony, where I saw squirrels and all sorts of birds amazing. The room even had netflix. I could literally live in there, thanks for a perfect stay

Fantastic property. Every little detail has been thought of. The location is great, interior or spacious and well laid out, even the lighting is really well done! Then you find the balcony that overlooks the most beautiful scenery. Highly recommended and our only regret was not staying longer.
