We had a great stay. The inn was perfect.. charming, clean, staff friendly. Nice small heated pool. Was in the heart of downtown, easy to walk to all of the shops and restaurants as well as the beautiful beach. Good value and a great short stay.

Carmel Beach Hotel
Beautiful place with a welcoming and helpful staff one block away from beach. Our room was clean with many amenities such as a clothing steamer, bottled water, Nespresso small fridge and safe. Great breakfast for purchase. Parking can be challenging. We will be back! The Uecker’s

La Playa Hotel
Romms are very small for &1,300 per day. Noise is unbearable. Large wedding party without advising the prospective guests. Noise from other rooms is loud. Very late check in. Ocean views are very far and small.

Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
Was very close to the custom house plaza. Had a good amount of stores and food places around it. Very easy to get to and the staff were on top of everything would definitely go back. Room was spacious and clean

Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa
The adjoining room door was next to the bed. Very poor sound proofing. The next room’s conversations at normal tones sounded like they were in our room. They talked until 2:45AM. The hotel clerk did make note of it the next morning when I reported it. Hopefully they will fix the problem.
