Stayed here for one night during a road trip through Italy.
To start with the good things about this hotel: it's very close to central Ancona, a 5-10 minute walk at most; situated on a hill with good views of the harbor; free on-site parking, a rarity in Italian cities; very friendly & helpful staff who made me feel welcome.
Now the bad: this is a hotel in dire need of a remodel. My room was very out-dated and didn't feel comfortable at all. The parking lot and exterior of the building looks rundown.
To be fair, reading other reviews of the hotel I saw the owner mention that a remodel was scheduled but had to be postponed, I imagine due to the pandemic.
I hope NH Ancona can go through with this remodel soon, because the staff and location deserve a top-notch building.
