Beautiful Montecatini terme

Montecatini terme is beautiful Italian small town. The staff was very nice. My room was a bit dated but was nice enough.

Clean & comfy without the trimmings

Very kind and always helpful staff, particularly the lovely Mary who runs a tight ship and is an excellent cook - her breakfast cakes were delicious. Rooms are very clean, but basic, with limited TV channels, and a system that is not really air conditioning and struggled in the hot days. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Bathrooms whilst clean, only have the fabric sheets for towels and problematic showers. Take your ear plugs! Location is handy and walkable, and lots of local bars and eating options within minutes. If you’re on a budget and want clean and basic, this is the place, otherwise select the next category up.

We recently stayed for one night in Montecatini, and it was a delightful experience. Though we arrived late in the evening, the area felt lively with a cozy bar restaurant right in front of the hotel and a small grocery store conveniently located just a block away. The check-in process was a bit slow, as the staff had to manually record our passport details into a ledger, but they were friendly and accommodating. We used a small, charming elevator to reach our room, which was spacious and equipped with three beds—a double and a single sofa bed. While the sofa bed was a bit squeaky and didn’t offer the best support, it was manageable for one night. The bathroom was spotless, featuring a generously sized shower with excellent water pressure, making it a refreshing way to start the day. Since checkout was at 11 am, we appreciated that the hotel kindly offered to store our backpacks, allowing us to explore the city without any hassle. One of the highlights of our stay was the Funicular ride up to Mt. Alto Montecatini—a must-do for anyone visiting. The views were breathtaking, and it was a great way to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the area. After our morning tour, we returned just before noon and enjoyed a lovely lunch at the restaurant right across from the hotel. The prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and despite a few minor inconveniences, I would absolutely return to this hotel on our next visit to Montecatini.

Innere Werte

Manchmal ist es gut, dass man sein Hotelzimmer per Internet bucht: Die abblätternde Farbe des Außenanstrichs hätten sonst sicherlich dazu geführt, am Hotel vorbei zu gehen. Nun, es war gebucht und im grellen Sonnenlicht Italiens fiel dieser kleine Schönheitsfehler auch nicht gleich auf. Innen war alles gepflegt und sauber. Der Receptionist war überaus freundlich und gab uns ungefragt ein Upgrade, so dass dadurch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unschlagbar günstig wurde. Beim Frühstück gab es ein reichhaltiges Angebot. Das Hotel liegt ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt und eignet sich hervorragend als Sprungbrett sowohl nach Lucca als auch Florenz. Ca. 200m entfernt vom Hotel gibt es einen gratis Parkplatz.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Albertgo Natucci. The husband and wife team are longtime hotel people. They treat their guests like family. if asked for help, they were more than helpful. The breakfasts were wonderful... always fresh baked items. The hotel’s location was very convenient for our daily excursions. All in all, we loved our stay here and look forward to returning. would highly recommend staying at this hotel to anyone traveling through Italy

Perfect Service

The hotel itself is just average, but the staff are superb - friendly and as helpful as they could possibly be, hence I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is happy with 2 or 3 star accommodation. Maria is also a pretty good cook. though you may struggle to eat everything as the dinners are pretty substantial.
