Spring and Summer Availability UPDATE! March is SOLD OUT! April rates are $299 per night. All weekends are sold out. A few midweek slots are open. The first few weeks of May are $399 per night (only the first two weekends are open). June is half sold out, with two weekends and midweek early in the month open at $429 per night, three night minimum. July is fully booked. August is fully booked until 8/8...then all open. September has three open weekends. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Jujube has been a much loved vacation rental for over 20 years. Recently remodeled, Jujube has a brand new kitchen with high end stainless appliances, an updated bathroom with a marble top double sink vanity and a glass walk in shower. Other updates inside and out: new larger flat screen televisions in the living room and bedroom, lots of new furniture, a new high efficiency convection wall heater, soft goods (curtains, bedding, towels and more), a new river view hot tub deck with seating area and two new kayaks. Most recently we have added a private outdoor shower. We are dog lovers, and the property is super dog friendly. Unlike most vacation rentals, we do not charge a pet fee. We've been able to continue that policy for OVER ten years now because our guests have consistently been very responsible dog parents! Our general rule is two pups under 50 pounds. There is some wiggle room, as long as your pups are low impact on the property. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Jujube is a stylish, light and airy one bedroom for two people only. She is a thoughtfully remodeled and updated vintage cottage on the banks of the Russian River with river access (typically safe May to October) from the yard and down a metal staircase to the seasonal dock. River access is seasonal and never guaranteed. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ It is important to note that the Russian River is not safe for swimming or kayaking from November to April. The river level fluctuates constantly depending upon rain amounts, and the currents can be extremely dangerous. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ After parking in your dedicated off street parking space, you enter the property through a private garden and head down the right side of the house to the sunny riverfront deck, where you will find your outdoor seating area and wood-burning chiminea fireplace, gas grill, hot tub deck, lawn and river access with two kayaks. There are no houses across the water from you, so it’s just the river and redwoods. Cocktails on the deck, a soak in the hot tub, swimming or kayaking in the river, or just enjoy the sun and scenery. Entry to the house is via keyless entry code through the central pair of three French doors that open to the deck. Once inside, you will find a spacious one bedroom cottage with river views from the living room, dining room, bedroom and bathroom and a garden view from the kitchen. Read a book, watch a movie on the large flat screen television or just relax in the living room in front of the wood burning fireplace, in the leather lounge chair or in the vintage rocking chair. The open kitchen is well-equipped for your stay, ready for morning coffee and toast on the deck or a gourmet meal for two at the river view dining table. The sun sets over the river and redwoods you see from the comfy, cozy bedroom. There’s plenty of storage, extra blankets and pillows, and another flat screen television. Off the bedroom is the bath, with a marble double vanity, walk in glass door shower, extra towels and a separate exit to the deck. Back outside where most guests begin and end their days at Jujube, the river changes hour by hour and season by season, from placid mornings to sunny afternoons to starry nights, which tend to be cool year round. Light a fire, enjoy a glass of local Pinot. It is our favorite place. Right on the river, huge deck, cute, cozy, fully stocked, etc.. It was a great location with just a short drive to downtown Guerneville. We especially loved the fully stocked and functioning kitchen, the ton tin and the deck lounging area. Especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the stars every evening. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals with great markets nearby. Lots of quality cafe's and restaurants just a short distance from the cottage. Definitely recommend this property for a quiet peaceful escape. Couldnt have asked for anything better! All the sitting spots located around outside were so nice and the hot tub was perfect. A hawk even landed 20 feet frlm me while sitting outside. The location of the home was excellent-- close to a cute, little town and plenty of wineries-- and although nestled in a neighborhood, the backyard setup made us feel like we were entirely alone. Highly recommend drinking your morning coffee on the porch-- the view is breathtaking and we even saw a playful river seal one morning. The kitchen was spacious and amply stocked with kitchenware to ensure we could comfortably cook every day. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly! ##### Maria M.
