This hotel was in the perfect location in Taormina and had beautiful views and pool! We got the Junior Suite and it was perfect for our honeymoon and also wasn't exorbitantly priced. The breakfast buffet was quite good too! There's no onsite gym so working out was a little bit of a problem, but walking up/down all the hills nearby helps with that. :)
The one odd thing that happened is the front desk wasn't able to bring us a bottle opener for wine in our room, but that could have also been a miscommunication. It was hard to tell. Overall, it was an incredible place! I would go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Hotel Continental Taormina and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was good, offering convenient access to the town, and the staff were amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the rooms fell below expectations. They felt substandard for the price, and the lack of a tea or coffee machine in the room was a noticeable inconvenience — a basic amenity we’d expect at most hotels. Breakfast, while available, felt overpriced for what was on offer.
Overall, the wonderful staff and good location were real positives, but the room quality and breakfast pricing left something to be desired. Worth considering if location and service are your priority, though don’t expect a luxury room experience.
