I travel from another country to Santiago Airport and from Santiago I went to Montecristi (2 hours from the airport). So after I long day travelling, I was hoping to be able to rest at the hotel. When I arrive to "El Cayito Hotel", they couldn't find my reservation. Luckily, I'm always prepare, so I show them my reservation printed from the expedia website and I also show them my reservation on the expedia phone app. They make a few calls and tells out that their room were full. We ask them for another options near, I they didn't give us any. The front desk lady, makes other call to her manager to ask them one more time for another option. We were a group of 4. They ended up offering us 2 separate room, not close to each other, and one of they tell us that the bathroom of 1 of the room was damage. The manager didn't apologize and they didn't even try to offer a discount for the damage bathroom and for the bad experience. We ended up leaving right away and we walked down on the road for a little be until we find another hotel to stay. NOT RECOMMEDED AT ALL. Now I need to find out that my card didn't got charge from them.
