It is not a 4 stars hotel. The hot water stopped working and we were informed that the showers had to be very fast or we would have to wait for the heater to heat it up again.

Incredible view, amazing breakfast! Really lovely hotel, and helpful staff!! Pool closed with no warning, bed could do with an upgrade and hill entrance was a lot!

You stay there because of the view and central location. Huge price tab of a Ritz or Four Seasons without the customer service.... Staff is not terribly helpful at times. We asked for a "Do Not Disturb" sign for bedroom several times. Crickets. We asked to change a large Euro bill. Crickets. We asked for a late checkout for one of our several rooms. Nope. But the view is stunning!

The hotel is beautiful and the first night I was there I was in a really cool room with a loft. I left for a week and then came back and stayed another night. This time the room was underneath the restaurant and was super loud until well after 11 PM. But overall, it’s a lovely property and very well ...

The hotel itself is a beautiful building with an interesting heritage as the main post office. The location is excellent offering a great starting point for a walking tour of Ortigia. Great stay.
