This 3BR, 2BA house sleeps 6 guests. Enjoy a private dock for fishing or swimming in crystal-clear waters. Relax on the back deck with stunning mountain views. The large wooded lot offers plenty of outdoor space to explore. We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the main entrance prior to check-in. We are local, and will be able to be reached by phone, text, or email, during the duration of your stay. Oak Hollow is the perfect getaway for a family or group of friends looking to enjoy all that Smith Mountain Lake has to offer. The rental is conveniently located near all the best attractions, including marinas, golf courses, and hiking trails. Whether you want to relax on the dock, explore the surrounding area, or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this vacation rental has it all. All areas of the house, decks, and dock are open for access to guests. The dock available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. The boat lift will be used by the property owners occasionally and the rental does not include use of the owner's garage, boat, or boat lift. The house has a propane grill, it is in the garage and is unlocked. \-You may use the dock to tie up your boat Inside, the house is tastefully decorated and features all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The living room is spacious and inviting, with large windows that allow in plenty of natural light. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, and dishwasher. There is a dining area that seats six, as well as a breakfast bar. The three bedrooms are all comfortably furnished and feature a variety of bed sizes to accommodate all guests. One bedroom has a queen size bed, the master bedroom has a king size bed, and there is a room that has a twin over twin bunk bed and a twin over full bunk bed. Additional sleeping arrangements can be made in the living room, where there is a sofa bed. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a shower. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer for guests to use. Less than 30 miles south of Roanoke, VA, you're only 10 minutes from the Bridgewater Plaza, There is a public boat launch in the neighborhood! \-This home can accommodate up to 4 cars, this is a steep driveway, so it could accommodate to a guest with a boat trailer if the backed it into the driveway. If guest has boat trailer, it would then only be able to accommodate 3 cars. Door keypad is located on the front door of the house Trash is picked up on Thursday's, so if your stay includes a Thursday, please put the trash can at the end of the driveway for trash collection. There is a propane grill available for your use, it is located in the garage. \-Propane (for grill use): 1\. There MAY BE a propane tank available at the house. 2.If you see a tank, you may use it for the grill. 3\. If the tank is empty, guests are responsible for refilling it. 4\. We DO NOT provide propane refills. From the back of the house to the dock is about 40 yards with a 10ft incline fire table takes propane Coffee maker takes pods and grinds Cannot get to the back porch from the bedrooms, have to go through the downstairs living room- Dogs are allowed but must be included on listing and pet fee must be paid. Limited to 2 dogs maximum. Dogs must be kept on-leash at all times when outdoors. \- Pets allowed with additional $100 pet fee. \-Friends are allowed to come and visit as long as the only ones sleeping at the home are on the reservation. \- Coffee Maker (Keurig) We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. The dock and floating docks are great and it’s a very nice quiet cove. Some of the bedrooms are lacking a bit of furnishings but other then some small house keeping the inside was sufficient. The yard was in need of a cut and some landscaping needed to be done. They have a very nice grill in the garage however the garage had 10 bags of trash that needed to be taken out and didn’t smell pleasant. I can see how the key benefits are outside with nice deck, walkway, boathouse and location right on the water. Not being able to use those in Nov put the focus on the house which needs some maintenance. Overhead lights were not working in a couple spots and lighting was dim throughout. Bathrooms had mildew-stained caulking in tubs/shower, coffee maker was cracked and leaking, freezer was broken on fridge and property was covered in leaves so much so that we had to get out find the edges of the driveway and make a line before pulling in and out. We only used a very few rooms in the house our daughters had to back out at the last minute. Our family enjoyed the house and the dock was the best part. The house was very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and swimming all day. Boat rentals are convenient and near the house. Rent a boat for the day and come back to the house for lunch. There are lots of deer so watch out while driving the neighborhood. ##### Irene H.
