Waterfront Condo at Stripers Landing, Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia

This condo offers beautiful views & breath taking sunsets overlooking Smith Mountain Lake from your private, top floor balcony. It's tastefully decorated and has a queen bed,  full sleeper sofa, linens are included, fully equipped kitchenette with a two burner cooktop, convection oven, microwave and full size refrigerator. The new smart tv allows you to watch Netflix, Disney Plus and Amazon Prime. Internet is provided, just log into Stripers Landing guest. At Stripers Landing you'll find a junior Olympic size pool, a kiddy pool, picnic table area with charcoal grills, the covered pavillion beside the pool has gas grills, bathrooms and there's an ice machine located just between the pavilion and the pool. The app provided will allow access to the pool and the boat ramp. Additional parking for boat owners is offered. In just a short drive from the condo you'll find shops, restaurants, a movie theater and a public beach area.

The condo was very clean. The downside was all the stairs. I recently had knee surgery and I wasn’t expecting to have to climb so many stairs. The facility grounds were immaculate!

Week of Fishing

Location is perfect for fishermen. Secure parking and boat ramp. Then back to the condo to clean up and go the next day. Great being able t launch your boat where you stay.

Lake condo

My son and I enjoyed our stay at this vacation condo. The view was beautiful from balcony. We went for a college graduation and will rent again.Our condo 108 was clean, beds were comfy, and well stocked with supplies. Great place to stay for 2-3 people.

Fantastic location-great communication/owner was super helpful

It is a cozy condo with a great view and amenities. The room is quaint but has everything needed. The pool looks inviting and a boat ramp on site is an amazing feature. The parking and lighting were superb for safety. The location lends itself to access for dining and shopping in close proximity. The property owner was a joy to work with and her communication and effort went above and beyond.

Great Getaway

Everything was very clean we had a hard time getting into the pool area, but people staying there were helpful:) I know there is nothing you can do about the smoking, the people below were lighting up all the time. We really enjoyed kayaking daily! We will be back to Strippers next year!

Condo on the lake

It's a small space but gets the job done. We spent most of our time on the lake or in the pool. Boat launch worked great to put in our jet ski. Pool is very nice and wasn't crowded. Good communication and very responsive when there was an AC problem. Saw deer every day on the property. Would stay again.

Unit was nice and tidy. The only thing I wish I had know was the pull out couch for the 3rd person. My husband and I both have back issues and unfortunately the pull out was not comfortable. If you have a kid as a third put them on it 😁 Cable did not work and I would suggest to the HOA that each unit get their own Wifi as it was pretty much not existent. But, honestly, if you are going to stay on the lake and enjoy the scenery I don't think you need the TV. We enjoyed the ease of getting in and out and the view was breathtaking. Overall, it was a really nice stay.

Four Day Fishing Trip

I was impressed with the property, though I was unfortunately unable to utilize our boat due to technical issues with it, which left me fishing from the dock for the duration of my stay, which wasn't always a good time. The room was very nice, though we had some trouble getting the room to cool down after arriving, it eventually did cool. Our TV had some strange issue where it constantly stuttered as though it did not have a clear connection or some kind of interference, which was annoying, though not a big issue. My biggest problem came from my lack of forethought regarding the many steps going down to the docks. I have a bad leg and found traversing the many stairs to be painful and uncomfortable, but that's due more to my lack of forethought than anything else. If I had considered it, I would've planned differently. Overall, a pleasant place to stay, fantastic if you have a working boat.

For a quick trip to the lake, this place was perfect! Nothing fancy but very comfortable and great table over looking the water. Smokers from other condos does cause you to run inside though.

Lake stay

Condo was the perfect spot for my husband and I. Everything was clean and in working order. My only complaint was there were only two wash cloths for the entire week. Very close location to great restaurants and lake! Loved the pool!
