Mönchgut, the peninsula on which Middelhagen is located, is characterised by rolling hills, dense forests, and a diverse coastal landscape that stretches out into the vastness of the Baltic Sea. The peninsula owes its name to the monks who once lived here and cultivated the land. Today, Mönchgut is a paradise for hikers and cyclists who appreciate the well-maintained trails through fields and along the coast.
The landscape of Mönchgut offers spectacular views of the Baltic Sea and the Bodden landscape. Numerous small beaches invite you to relax. Middelhagen and Mönchgut embody Rügen’s unspoiled nature and rural charm.

As guests at this holiday rental, you and your travelling companions have free admission (up to 3 hours daily) to the AHOI! - water park with a large sauna area in the neighbouring town of Sellin. There is NO swimming pool in the holiday rental itself.
