Located in the Baltic Sea resort of Mönchgut, right by the Hagensche Wiek bay, you can reach the idyllic natural beach on foot or set out from the property for a hike toward Reddevitzer Höft. A scenic trail starts directly at the house and leads you along Rügen’s longest and narrowest peninsula to the Reddevitzer Höft at the bay.
The Reddevitz peninsula, also known as Reddevitzer Höft, is a narrow stretch belonging to the German Baltic Sea island of Rügen. It is part of the Mönchgut peninsula, connected in the southeast by a strip of land about 130 meters wide. The peninsula is over 4 km long and only 200 to 500 meters wide, ending in the west at the Reddevitzer Höft. Well-developed cycling paths are easy to reach and lead to sandy beaches, for example in Lobbe, Thissow, Baabe, Göhren, and Sellin.
