It was easy to check in and very friendly staff. We booked the tomahawk steak dinner and it did not disappoint! The light breakfast consists of Muesli and yoghurt which was also a nice start to the day. Wonderful food and service. Room was comfortable and clean. We came here as a stop over from Cradle Mountain and was not disappointed. Not only was the room comfortable and worth the price (particularly given the time of year we visisted), the staff were all very friendly and the whole place has a wonderful atmosphere. If you visit and like being able to mingle, we definitely recommend the set dinners they offer from Wednesday to Sunday. You get the chance to mingle with other patrons of the hotel as you eat and the food was amazing quality! Definitely recommend if you are ever in the area. Gave me a complimentary bottle of wine which was nice, but we had a terrible sleep worrying about larvae crawling on us (which they didn't). Woke up to find the window seal full of larvae again. Bought a 4 pack of beer to take home with me, only to find they were out of date when I got home.
