Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

"From the moment I stepped into the property, I was immediately captivated by the beauty and elegance of this resort. Even the best photos I’ve taken can’t quite capture the true essence of this relaxing place! The place is exceptionally clean; the housekeeper cleaned my room even twice a day without ever interrupting me while I was in the room—I have no idea how they manage that! Everyone, from the receptionist to all the other staff members, was smiling. The 8th-floor lounge was something I didn’t expect; there was practically something to eat and drink for free (included in the room) from 6 AM to 7 PM! I could have had healthy and unhealthy meals or snacks, whatever I liked! The pools with ocean right there, swim-up bar, 24 hour store on site in addition to multiple restaurants in the resort, even a simple walk around the 4-acre area filled with flowers, trees, and a waterfall, were safe and so relaxing at night! There was a water machine for free all over the resort. That was my first perfect experience in Hawaii. I wish I could go back there soon!"

"Very beautiful hotel that truly wants to provide their guests with a beautiful &relaxing stay. We were greeted with aloha each day by staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We were given an upgrade to a king suite which added to a wonderful 35th anniversary stay here. There were gorgeous orchids to pin in your hair or on your sun hat each day. I really enjoyed that, thank you Maui Coast. We put to use the refillable water bottles and the hospitality suite was such a nice amenity at no extra cost. It was great to have access to the pools that day, since we had an evening departure flight. Such a relaxing last day. I’ve never seen that offered in any places I’ve stayed. There were just so many pleasant things that I would not have wanted to stay anywhere else on the island. If we were to return to Maui again, this is where I would want to stay. Aloha lives here. "What a gorgeous complex! There was no "beach" at all and the main pool at the beach access was being renovated, so that was a bit of a bummer. BUT, we frequented another pool close to us which was very nice. The area was quiet, very clean and well maintained. We didn't have info in our condo regarding pool codes, WIFI, map of the area to find the 3rd pool or fitness center, so we were messaging a lot. Would have been helpful to have a little book of things to do, places to walk to, etc., in the condo. Condo itself (30D) was gorgeous, very comfortable and it was hard to leave. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay!"

"This vacation rental was perfect. The location and grounds are stunning and well maintained. We felt very safe and welcome in the gated community. The condo itself was clean and very well supplied with kitchen equipment/utensils and the bathrooms had plenty for towels which was appreciated. We loved how peaceful and private the condo was. We loved the outside dining area and loungers for breakfasts and watching the sunset. The condo was spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Al was an excellent host who checked in to make sure we arrived and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was perfect so we didn’t need to but we knew he was just a call away if we didn’t. We are so grateful to have been able to stay at his place and would love to stay again. Highly recommend this condo!"
