One thing is the parking - it is nearly impossible though they have a garage for vehicles. It was very challenging to find our way to the hotel with one way streets, etc despite using GPS. However, once we called them they came and provided assistance to get us where we needed to be. Moral of the story: don't use a car in Sintra!

Excellent Hotel. Easy check in with the helpful staff at the front desk, with lockers to store luggage until check in time. Everything works in the room/apartment, very clean and organized. Clear communication with the hotel from booking to check-in/out.
Close to public transport and several landmarks. Small grocery and a restaurant next door with awesome breakfast.
Check out was easy with Pedro who was very helpful on giving us tips to travel to the airport.

hotel is in a good location overlooking the marina and only a short walk into town with it's many restaurants and bars.
The room was comfortable, however sea view rooms have stairs from the bathroom which we did not like, and no walk in shower just above the bath. The indoor pool was lovely and there is also an outdoor pool but umbrellas were limited unless you helped yourself as they were not set up (out of season!).
