Find the Best Mogale City Bed and Breakfast

This hotel is a real gem. Michelle the manager is efficient, friendly and very helpful. Everything has been thought of, and the breakfasts are to die for. If you are looking for a 5 star experience but don't want a corporate faceless hotel this is the place for you.

Amazing accommodation would highly recommend this place. All the rooms are big modern and clean. I’ve stayed here twice now and when in joburg I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. It has a very homely feel. Jackie the owner is lovely and super friendly.

Excellent spacious lodges, relaxing space well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful, perfect for any type of stay. Great for a group stay with independence. Only disappointment was lack of lighting around the huts made BBQ really difficult at night having to use phone torch and candle. Wish staff had communicated this when I stared I would be BBQ-ing at check-in or offered some further lighting.

We stayed for 11 nights at the guest house and we can say that overall it was very neat, tidy and clean, as was our twin room. It was not exactly as the photos depicted, but at least it was comfortable and clean. Our room was small but pleasant, with windows on two opposite walls so it wasn't too dark. The curtains and bed covers could have done with a little upgrade, and most of the furniture was a little outdated which made it all a little bit farm-like in character.The linen was white and...

The thatchfoord lodge is a peaceful little sanctuary which feels 100 miles from busy joburg, while actually being a few minutes drive from everything you need. The mall is just around the corner, the lion park and zoo a short drive and plenty of shops nearby. The lodge backs onto a delightful stream and garden and you really don't feel like you are in Jo burg at all. Pearl and the other ladies are so helpful. Our daughter was sick while we stayed and they really helped out washing stuff for us....
