(503 reviews) Our room was comfortable and well presented, check in was easy and welcoming. The hotel was easy to find and in a great location right by the park and a short stroll from Lark Lane. A few minor DIY jobs need seeing to in the room and bathroom which do not impact the function of the room but make it feel a little run down- things like light a light bulb needing replacing, some skirting board coming away in the bathroom, and redundant fixtures from when hand soap used to be supplied in bottles fixed to the wall etc. The TV is a bit difficult to see from the bed because the fancy bed frame is in the way! Overall, this is a fairly affordable place to stay, with a bit of a 'faded glory' vibe on the outside. We may well return next time we stay in the area.
