We really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Lodge/Artro Lodges. The Lodge was well appointed and the location was great. It needed a little bit of TLC e.g. one bed had been repaired but, the repair failed and another bed had a mattress that was a little tired. The hot tub is a bonus if you choice to use it. The owner checks on you to make sure every thing is satisfactory and then leaves you to it but is on hand if you need him for anything. Comfortable and clean. Excellent location, close to some nice pubs and a handy shop. Short train ride to Barmouth was great. Only criticism was the lighting in the lodge of an evening (dim) and the lack of wifi as the local internet is poor. We had a lovely stay and received great comms from Morris, the owner.
