"The host is AMAZING. She is the kindest!! She makes the most delicious breakfasts I maybe ever had. Her decorations are impeccable and the vibes there are great. There are so many cats there!!! If you love animals you will love it there. My boyfriend and I stayed there for two nights and three days and honestly I want to go back. We went during the summer so it was HOT (we knew that before we got there). She told us the best time to go is in the fall with all the pumpkins and fall vibes and I and am definitely going to come back during that time. I highly recommend going to the Knowles inn. It really doesn't matter when you go. You'll have a good time at any point in the year! :))"

"Hotel is under renovation. Rooms were done already and are very nice. Staff was very helpful. We had the same guy, Michael Jackson, checking in and out. He moved us to a ground floor accessible room at our request. Would stay again."

"When we drove up I wasn't so sure that we had made the best decision on staying here. We were put on the back part of the property in a part that was not attached to the main building. I was worried about safety. There were no issues though. The room was clean and very comfortable, The breakfast was in a separate building. This area was immaculate. We had lots of choices. The food was delicious. I am glad we stayed here."

"Check in process was easy and friendly. The bathroom was small and trim was a bit sad looking. The size of the room was great. The air conditioning was great. Our room had a working small frig and microwave. The inside was outdated and a chair needed to be replaced. The price for this room was great for the location."

"This motel is one of my favorites. It’s clean, updated, good amenities, quiet, and helpful friendly staff. I’ve stayed here several times over the years and it just keeps getting better. The breakfast is pretty good and better than some other motel breakfasts I’ve had. Parking is good too."

"My wife and I loved our visit to the Gunn House Hotel. We met Harry who is wonderful and very helpful. And he's quite a good chef for morning breakfast. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked great. We sat outside our room in the evening with our tablets and watched all the cars go by on Washington St. I give an A+ to the staff and Harry for their great hosting. We will be back. Take care for now, Kevin & Debbie."
