As you settle in to this fully-carpeted abode, you’ll discover Spirit Bear, Lizard, Bighorn Sheep, Coyote, and Kokopelli, the mythological flute player of southwestern Native American cultures. The Great Room has a soaring loft ceiling and large picture windows with superb views of Moab Valley’s west rim. After a full day, relax on the comfortable sofa and loveseat in front of the corner, gas-log fireplace while you watch cable TV. The dining table seats six and there are two additional stools at the breakfast bar. The light pine cabinets of the airy, U-shape kitchen are stocked with new Fiesta dinnerware and all the cookware and utensils needed to rustle up a big western meal. Appliances include 2-door refrigerator w/top freezer, gas range, built-in microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster oven, and blender. Don’t forget to try the gas barbecue grill on your gated, enclosed patio. You’ll have a fabulous view of the sunset as you gather around the tile-top picnic table. Across the patio gate, you will also have a great view of the east wall of Moab Valley, with Wilson Mesa and the La Sal Mountains rising up behind. The huge Master bedroom has a wall of west-facing windows, overhead light w/ventilating fan and a brand-new, 4-poster King bed. A 6-drawer dresser, computer desk/chair, and a TV round off the furnishings. The en suite Master bathroom has a carpeted, dual-sink vanity/dressing area, a walk-in clothes closet, and a double shower with two sit-down benches. For privacy, there is a separate commode room. The second and third bedrooms share the hall bathroom with a full tub/shower and a large sink/vanity. The second bedroom has a Double bed, 3-drawer dresser, full closet, and a mini stereo with CD/cassette/radio. The third bedroom provides a Double/Twin bunk bed; a 3-drawer dresser, clothes closet; and a clock radio w/CD player. Completing the amenities of Krystal Kiva is the separate laundry room with Amana washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. From here, a convenient interior door opens into the double garage, where you can safely store your vehicles and equipment. There’s space for parking two additional vehicles in the driveway, if needed. No pets are allowed in this unit. If you’d like to bring a pet with you, please inquire about Moab Lodging Vacation Rentals' wide variety of pet-friendly options. Cancellations will result in a minimum $45 cancellation fee. After calling, emailing, and texting with no reply, we went back out and got other stuff to eat, frustrating. Property managers texted back the next morning. The kitchen utensils we in short supply so you are constantly washing items. The cleaning service did do a good job of having the kitchen and bathrooms clean. The listing described a “double shower with two benches” in the master bedroom. I felt disappointed to find out it was just a regular shower with two triangle corner shelves. When we first arrived we encountered two spiders which kind of freaked my kids out. We really didn’t see too many other bugs during our stay other than a random beetle or ant. The DVD player was not hooked up to anything and we wasted a lot of time messing with cords. There were only enough plates for one meal at a time, so we ended up running the dishwasher after every meal. Also needs a working can opener. It would have been convenient to have a garage door opener to use also. We had to stop and send someone in to unlock the front and go through and open the garage door so we could park. It stayed a comfortable temperature even though it was a really hot week when we were there. ##### amy s. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the house but carpet and couch are very dirty. The beds were very comfortable. Showers were great. Lots of hot water for all.
