"I have never paid so much for a hotel that had so little to offer. The room was absolutely lacking in color and detail; everything but the duvet was grey. But what really disturbed me was the fact that the pool was not operating. No reason was provided for this. I was really looking forward to a good swim before a 12-flight. The restaurants were nearly empty and it was easy to understand why; the prices were exorbitant. For $500 US per night, you'd think they could at least include breakfast in the fee. ILike most guests, I simply walked back to the airport and bought food there. Given that the Sofitel is the ONLY airport hotel, they are able to get away with charging so much for so little."

"Sarah and other 2 dental men were very warm and helpful. It allowed early check in if the prior guest checked out early. Sarah welcomed us and opened door and set up sofa bed for us quickly after we got to the entrance. The other gentlemen told us how to go to airport by taxi and then booked the early morning taxi for 4:40 am pickup. This hotel is 15-minutes drive from airport by taxi. It is also facing beach, so easy to swim or walk along the beach. Additionally, with the balcony, I sat on it using the table to enjoy the sunset. I could hear the tides from ocean close by day and night, which was soothing to me. Both sofa bed downstairs and the double bed upstairs are spacious and clean and comfortable, can hold up to 4-5 people. The high ceiling and Glassdoor make the room very bright and relaxing. We chose it as it is close to airport. But to get to the city center of Athens, taxi fares are typically around Euro 50, so could be expensive if taking taxi round trip to see the Athens Meseums and historic ruins. And there is no better means of transportation if going to the center of Athens, which is almost 1-hour away."

"They were so nice! The place is ran by a family. This was the first place my husband and I stayed on our honeymoon. The only thing I would say is don’t flush toilet paper! "

"Very clean and nice view of the water. The restaurant was great and the $10 breakfast buffet was wonderful. We hired a drive to take us to the temple of Poseidon an hour away as we had a day to waste before our flight. There were plenty places to eat. A nice beach with beach chairs and umbrellas and a tiki bar snack place on the beach. There’s not much to do but it was a great place to rest up after our 15 day trip around Greece. "

"A relaxed and refreshing stay. Just what I needed , for the most part. Only disappointment for me was the lack of Expedia VIP upgrade to a sea view room that I was looking forward to. Also the front desk were not very helpful for a later checkout on the last day given my evening flight departure."

"Pretty nice hotel, but the area is safe but not that great ( bit crapy), nothing really to see, but close the airport ( 10-15 min ). Otherwise, clean, comfortable hotel, with nice bar and excellent breakfast. We do recommend if you want to stay the before travelling somewhere else. "
