The host ladies were very friendly and tried their best to communicate with us. It’s a local traditional inn so don’t expect hotel style amenities and rooms. Only complaint was the noise from neighboring room(s): you wouldn’t hear their conversations but their foot steps and door closing. Hope future visitors would learn to be quieter in such an older, traditional Japanese inn. But we can only fit 2 futons as the big table took up space and there’s no where else to place it. So my youngest gal squeeze with me on the bed instead.
