It was cheap and surprisingly very spacious. The best part was that the futons provided were the most comfortable futons that I’ve slept on during my trip. Wish we stayed longer, it had a really honey and camp feel which I really liked compared to the busy city hotels we’ve stayed at. The service was great too, we came late in the night because we had to drive down and we still had someone greet us with a warm welcome. Quite, near the wood and mountain. Old fashion, old Japanese style house, if you like this style you should try. Hospitable staff, the host is so nice that he knew the place is hard to find for guest, he wait at the JR station for me to come and drive me there, speak good enough English, easy to communicate, he won't stay at night in the house. If you're looking for an experience to live at a old Japanese house(which is not easy to find now for a good price) this will be a good place for you. Just to remember if it's winter, the heater is only in the kitchen and room, the other area will be so cold to stay, it was -1 degree at that time, bath will be so unwilling to do for me ;) ##### Verified traveller
