This trip, I will need to take trains and bus running around my stops, the local bus office is also just right at first floor of this JR Hotel, foreign travelers can buy one day 2000 yen/ $8 pass. A mega supermarket is just 5 min walking distance. I love the way they control the security of elevators also very convenient locations with coin laundry ! The room had two beds and a sofa bed, but both beds had the hardest mattresses I’ve ever slept on. I tried the sofa bed on the second night, which was slightly better but still uncomfortable. The air conditioning was centralized, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature at all. Coming from humid Singapore, the room felt stuffy, and we ended up opening the windows just to get cooler air. There were also some maintenance issues — the toilet roll holder was loose, with the nails coming out of the wall. On a positive note, the chambermaids were friendly, attentive, and very service-oriented. Their warm attitude was one of the better parts of the stay. Location is good. Breakfast was exactly the same for all three days, with no rotation or variety. On the first day, the rice was cold. Rice was available on the remaining days, but I didn’t eat it, so I’m not sure if the temperature improved. Overall, the stay was not comfortable, and we won’t be staying there again.
