For some reason, they are designed to be lumpy on one side and soft & smooth on the other side. Bar was permanently closed. Only one restaurant open, no English menu. Staff friendly enough. Good free parking. Very convenient location. Many restaurants around. Walking to town centre quick and easy. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. It’s an older hotel but for the price, you cant do much better than this in Miyakojima unless you want to pay hundreds more at the high end places. There are some restaurants and a Family Mart within walking distance but you will need a car to get around. All in all very happy with our stay overall. One caveat: If you don't speak Japanese you'll need to use Google translate a lot.
