I called in advance to check on the status of the hot tub and they said it was working, i booked the room right after but when we got there the front desk said it was out of order (this is only 15 minutes after i called) the whole reason i wanted this stay was for the hot tub. The lady at the front desk, was very unprofessional and dis curtious. She was very rude. If i had known the hot tub wasnt working, i would have not booked this room which was non refundable. She was very rude and unpleasant to work with. Waste of time and money considering i called the hotel 15 mins prior to arriving and was told the hot tub worked. Now we are out $90 to stay in a room that is very flithy and has broken applicances, and out a hot tub due to a staff member lying. Needless to say i am very disappointed.

It seems there was a bit of miscommunication -- our Hot Tub was down for a couple hours due to maintenance, but that was only temporary. I will be discussing this with our staff to further better how we handle situations such as these. We value our guests and especially their feedback. As it is what helps us do better. Not pet-friendly. Took our money but wouldn't let us stay there with 2 cats. Advertised as pet-friendly on Expedia. Fine print said only dogs. At least they should have refunded reservation fee and recommended another hotel in town that accepted cats. Had to call around. Nice clerk at another hotel recommended Red Lion as cat-friendly. This hotel couldn't be bothered to help. Just greedy to take our money for noone using the room.

Not very clean, wallpaper peeling off the walls, smells of marijuana. I called ahead before I booked asking if they have fridge and microwave in the room and they said yes. Got to my room and there is neither. Plus the room was freezing because the heat was not on and it is 1 degree outside.

Reliable budget choice near Southgate Mall
Sleep Inn was solid. Wish I had made it to the hot tub. Breakfast is similar to other chains of this sort. Staff is very friendly. Heater worked well enough to fight extreme cold, and bed was comfy. Room was small, and so was shower. Yet the space was used efficiently. It didn’t feel cramped. Would stay again next time I’m in town.
