"I’ve had good experiences at La Quinta’s for years and this was no exception. Staff was super helpful (my 13 yo was a little upset staff wouldn’t let him make his own waffle ;) and the facility was clean. The beds are moderately comfortable. The pool was a disappointment though. The photos make it look like your average size pool when in fact it’s tiny and only 2’8” deep. The pool deck is lovely though."

"The most eclectic place I have ever stayed. Parts of the property could use a refresh, but the energy and excitement of the guests and staff more than made up for that. Pool was very nice as was the walking trails and proximity to SLO Main Street. "

"Workers were really nice and welcoming. The room was nice. Property was okay-maintained. Some positives is that there are lot of food places near the hotel, right next to 101 freeway and close to downtown. Neighborhood is okay but you still feel fairly safe. Beds were good and bathroom. A solid 6.5/10."

"I don't trust hotel.com at this point. Reviews bragged about breakfast. It was mediocre. Hotel was run down hard mattresses. Hotel.com is more interested in making money vs being transparent about hotel conditions. I have never been happy with the hotels through hotel.com I recommend hotel tonight. Better prices better hotels"
