"I’ve had good experiences at La Quinta’s for years and this was no exception. Staff was super helpful (my 13 yo was a little upset staff wouldn’t let him make his own waffle ;) and the facility was clean. The beds are moderately comfortable. The pool was a disappointment though. The photos make it look like your average size pool when in fact it’s tiny and only 2’8” deep. The pool deck is lovely though."

"Cute hotel a mile from downtown SLO . Walkable to restaurants and shopping possible. The rooms are spacious with a cute fireplace. and sitting area. You have coffee and es while day at the reception area available . "

"I don't trust hotel.com at this point. Reviews bragged about breakfast. It was mediocre. Hotel was run down hard mattresses. Hotel.com is more interested in making money vs being transparent about hotel conditions. I have never been happy with the hotels through hotel.com I recommend hotel tonight. Better prices better hotels"

"I checked in around 2am, and left around 7am. Just needed a bed to sleep for a few hours, but I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice this property was. Is it a five star resort with 1000 thread count sheets? No... but is it clean and a great place to stay when visiting San Luis Obisbo? And a great value? Yes. Very nice, very clean, felt very safe. I even had a beautiful view from the shower, where the window opened up to the mountain behind the property. Absolutely would stay here again."
