Beautiful Property with View of Lazy River

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at the Grove at Seaside. The Property is beautiful. The Lazy River is so nice.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly! Would Not Recommend!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let's start with the good since that's a short list:- The property is brand new.- The lazy river is the highlight of this place.- It's fairly close to the beach but didn't try walking there.- It's spacious. Next, the Bad list:- We can hear our upstairs neighbors as if they're elephants in a stampede! All the time! It's ridiculous.- Outlet shorted causing our fridge to stop working. Why isn't it on it's own circuit.- Sink in master bath wasn't draining on our first use. - Bathroom lock was broken and didn't get it fixed until 2 days later. Had to send a reminder email about it.- Not easy to communicate with the property when there are problems. Office hours are 9-5. No way to send a quick text we have to call. Not convenient.Finally, the Ugly list:- The unit was NOT properly cleaned! - There was trash left on the balcony. - Dust and dirt on the baseboards that looked like it's never been cleaned. - There was a used contact lens on the floor in the bathroom. - Cabinet in the kitchen was FULL of prescription meds (3 gallon sized ziploc bags for a previous guest). No one checks that things are cleared for the next guests. - Dishwasher had a foul odor and we had to run it to get rid of the smell. - Dishes in the cabinets and drawers were not clean! We had to wash all dishes prior to using.That's why we should get our $400 cleaning fee BACK!- There was no vacuum to clean the floors.- The one broom we had was broken! - The maintenance guy who came to fix the sink, snaked it and left the gross stuff in the sink and the larger stuff (hair and remainder of the gunk) in the toilet for us. Didn't bother flushing the toilet! That's disgusting!- Window blinds didn't cover the entire windows/patio doors. - There are marks all over the walls. I would never recommend this place nor would I ever stay here again. I am a travel agent a
