    Getaway from a hectic schedule and get into your swimsuit with a vacation on the beach! Hidden Dunes Cottage 228 is the gateway to sunshine and bliss on the shores of the Gulf, great games of tennis and pure and simple relaxation. Plus, Hidden Dunes is one of the few area resorts where the vacation rentals, pools and Rubico tennis courts are nestled among the ancient oaks and magnolias that northwest Florida is famous for. You can finally have some real peace and quiet.

    Newly remodeled and with all the necessities of home, this first-floor cottage is the perfect fit for a small family or a couple. The soothing ambiance of this Destin vacation rental is undeniable - whether you are watching a movie on the flat screen TV, entertaining guests in the upgraded kitchen or enjoying the Gulf breeze on the screened-in patio. However, so many adventures are waiting just outside the door! Take the Hidden Dunes tram to the beach, play a game of basketball or horseshoes then walk the nature trails past gazebos and fountains.

    Hidden Dunes also enjoys an excellent location. Right outside its gates are the Silver Sands Premium Outlets, several award-winning Golf Courses and countless restaurants offering all your favorites.

    Hidden Dunes offers six tennis courts with a Rubico Clay surface, which is the highest standard for clay tennis courts, and are maintained daily in order to provide the best playing conditions. Proper tennis attire is required to play and we encourage you to call ahead to schedule a match or take advantage of our clinics and private lessons. Please call to inquire about cost per session and equipment rental prices. Our friendly staff invites you to join for a game or two.

    1 PARKING SPACE PROVIDED!

    We require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.

    We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25.

    Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.

    In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.

Love Hidden Dunes when see the Beach

My wife and I wanted to try something new. In this case it was a Villa. Even though it was well decorated, clean, homie and spacious, my wife nor I couldn't get past that it wasn't on the beach. As all awesome husbands do I went back to the office and explained my situation not really expecting good news. The staff completely understood and was very helpful in getting me a beach condo upgrade. I paid the difference in price and I was a happy man the whole trip. Thank you ladies. One disappointment we were surprised with, we are both tennis players but it was $40/hr court fee. That certainly limited our tennis.

Needs a little TLC

Property was very clean! However, the bed was terrible!!I didn’t get in until 1:00 am I was so excited to finally get some rest! I could literally feel the springs In the bed. I notified the property manger immediately! She was very responsive and had me an egg crate on the bed the next night. I tried sleeping in the bed again :( ended back up in the couch.(The couch has broken armrest)I do believe that the washer and dryer could be updated as well. I know this sounds like petty BS. When I pay what I paid for two nights……. I would’ve been more comfortable are the Marriott down the road.

Escape

We rented property during COVID the unit was very clean with no contact check in and out. The kitchen has minimal dishes, but I think this is because they have to wash everything to rent it again during COVID. The bedroom is dark and good for sleeping. The beach is less than a ten minute walk. We liked not having to drive to the beach. They even have mounted hand sanitizer dispenser inside by the front door. The AC and refrigerator work great.

Not a good time ...!

We found roaches in the bathroom camode backed up. Dark rooms no sunlight like pictures. Kitchen sink backed up and set off a water alarm during cooking a stake dinner. Totally destroyed a saterday evening waiting on support to change the garabage disposal. I've been staying in florida for 50 years ... this was the worst experance of all times.
