Charming Townhome w/ Golf Cart at Sandestin

  • This beautiful Mediterranean inspired two- story townhouse is the perfect spot for the golfer in your life. Situated on the 14th hole of the Baytowne Golf Course you can sit on the screened in patio and watch him/her play! Less than a 5 minute drive to the beautiful sandy beaches!!!!

    The grand townhouse is located in Tivoli on the Southside of our resort and includes the use of a golf cart for your convenience! This beautiful accommodation is just moments from the 7 miles of sugary sandy beaches located on the 2,400 acres of Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. You will have an awesome time here, there is plenty of activities for the whole family!!

    Upon entry, you are met with a beautiful foyer and high ceilings. As you move into the living room, you will find plenty seating and a huge flat screen T.V. You also have access to the patio through the French doors. There is also a wet bar in the living room for entertaining.

    The kitchen has upgraded appliances, granite counter-tops, and a breakfast bar with seating for three. All dishes. pots, pans, and silverware are included. The dining area has a large table with seating for six.

    This unit has a full sized front load washer & dryer for your use. There is also an iron and ironing board.

    The master bedroom is on the first level and has a king size bed, flat screen TV, and access to the patio. The walk-in closet has custom built shelving for extra storage. The en-suite master bathroom has a double vanity and a walk in shower.

    The screened-in patio is furnished with two chairs, a small love-seat and end table. It also has a ceiling fan!

    Upstairs there is a small sitting area with a love-seat and ottoman.

    The second room has has a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The bathroom has a shower tub combo.

    The third room has two twin-sized beds and a flat screen TV. The bathroom has a shower/ tub combo and a single vanity.

    *The townhome also offers a 4-seater golf cart for easy transportation around the resort! Once you arrive at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Welcome Center for check-in, an additional $500 damage deposit for the golf cart will be charged/held for up to 14 days after departure. Once an inspection of the golf cart is completed after your departure, the funds will be released back to your card if there is no damage.

Labor Day Vacay

The home was very nice and clean it sits on the lake with a beautiful view. The kitchen was stocked well and there were a lot of amenities to accommodate our stay. The only reason we gave 3 starts is because we rented this unit based on it having a golf cart. First of all they wanted a $500.00 incidental hold and then they charged a $500 fee that was supposed to be credited in 14 days for the golf cart. We were told there was also a daily charge for the use of the golf cart if it had been working, somehow I must have missed that in the fine print. However, the golf cart had brake problems that wasn’t able to be repaired during our stay. The grinding was so bad this couldn’t have just started it was already a problem before we arrived. The front desk said they inspect the golf carts but, they didn’t drive it. We really were looking forward to using the golf cart for convenience especially since we had other family members staying in the same resort. We figured it would be easier to visit on the cart since parking is limited. So, make sure if you’re using the golf cart you are aware of the charges and it’s working properly. That was really our only complaint which was a BIG deal for us. We never would have rented the unit had we known the golf cart wasn’t working especially not for the price we paid. We looked over more reasonable units because there was no golf cart. We weren’t accommodated for inconvenience which was a bummer other than the golf cart everything was great.

This home is a beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy time away with family. Plenty of beach gear and two bikes were available, which was an added benefit!

Wonderful location with bonus golf cart

We've stayed in this particular Tivoli townhouse twice now. The place is clean, comfortable and convenient to everything. Guest aren't allowed much beachfront access unfortunately. There are too many beach service umbrellas and chairs, which makes it difficult for people who bring their own stuff to find a spot. Too much space reserved for the condos.

Great Location, Close to Beach

Nice condo in a vet nice area, 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathrooms, close to beach. Garbage disposal not hooked up, 4 passengers golf cart which had no working lights, owner did repair while we were there. Not enough AC for upstairs bedrooms nor hot water for 5 people to bathe.

Very nice place

Beautiful property however there was an issue with the A/C. The control panel didn’t work on the downstairs unit so we couldn’t run the A/C down to get it cool on the main level. Front desk was hard to get on the phone so we had to drive over. Once the repairmen came they were able to understand and by the second night they fixed it. Back door to screen porch was broken and unusable but there were 2 lemon trees in back and they tasted great in my evening adult beverage!!! Will stay in this unit again.

Great Stay! Will Return!

This house was everything and more! First I would like to say that the listing doesn’t give the property the credit it deserves. The property does have a grill which the listing doesn’t mention. There are also plenty of pool tools, beach sand toys, a beach cart, and a small cooler in the garage; all not mentioned. The only issues that weren’t really issues are that there are a very few forks and pots and pans. The grill brushes were also rusted. The back door handles could also use some repair since they are loose. None of these are deal breakers though and I would happily rent this property again in the future!

Beautiful Townhouse in Ideal Location

Three generations (my husband, our son and my dad) spent Labor Day weekend here, and it was a delight. The photos in the listing are accurate - clean, bright, terrific golf course view. The property is in a perfect spot within the resort - a short 5-ish minute golf cart ride to the beach - in a quiet, gated enclave that has its own pool. All of the furniture is comfortable and ample for six (we were a party of four). There were pool/beach toys and beach chairs in the garage, which were great to have. Also, having access to a golf cart was very handy - there was a morning that my husband and son wanted to kayak and I wanted to hit the outlet mall when it wasn't so busy (and hot) - I took the car, they took the golf cart to the other side of the resort. The golf cart also made getting to and from the beach a breeze with our gear. A few notes about the unit: * The third bedroom (not pictured in the listing) has two single beds. It also has AMPLE closet space. * All of the beds in the unit are high. (I'm 5ft 4in, and they were a hike up for me.) If you or someone in your rental party is short, be prepared to get creative with how you get up and into bed. If you have smaller children (under 4ft 8in in or so), be prepared to help them into bed. * The tile in the master bathroom is very slick when wet - be extremely careful about drying off and/or tracking water. Also, while having a walk-in shower is a nice feature, be aware that the tile in the shower also has the same finish as the bathroom floor tile - even though it's smaller and has more grout lines, it's still slick. (Read: I would be reluctant to have a senior citizen use that bathroom/shower.) * The living area and the television make for a perfect spot for a movie day/night, if outdoor plans go awry. * The fridge and freezer spaces are ample, especially if you plan on having pre-made items (ex. sandwich, veggie, fruit trays) on hand. * The extra ice maker in the wet bar - awesome if you have a cooler for the beach, or need to pack up leftovers. * All bedrooms having their own bathroom - and then a half bath under the stairs - makes for a happy vacation. * The pool within the neighborhood is an asset. We tried going to the beach the Saturday morning of Labor Day weekend, and it was wall-to-wall people. When we arrived at the neighborhood pool, we had it to ourselves Overall, highly recommend for quality, value and location, just be aware of the items mentioned above.

Sandestin Customer service "Susie" NOT nice!!!

Place is beautiful. Missed having a Keurig. Having a golf cart was superb! Bring throw blankets - there were none. We stayed from Sunday 9/12 - Sunday 9/19. Our BIGGEST concern was that we could NOT get into the main gate starting Tuesday. Each time I called, Susie would tell me that the gate code was correct, we weren't entering it in correctly. We had to put it in slower or press the #'s harder. I even send a video showing us entering the code SLOWLY. Wednesday it was storming, we got soaked trying and re-trying the code. Still to be told that I was lying. Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri the only way we could get into the gate was for one of us to walk to our place, get the golf cart or our vehicle, go to the "out" gate and let it start opening, back up so we could drive into the "out". VERY FRUSTRATING to say the least. But to be told I was lying was NOT okay. Finally, on Friday evening I was told that the code DID change!!!! Imagine that! A manager FINALLY called me after our check-out Sunday and said she was sorry. But someone NEEDS to tell "Susie" that she owes us a sincere apology herself. This issue could have and should have been resolved on Tuesday or Wed at the latest.

Nice layout but needs work and better property management

The unit is a nice layout and in good proximity to the beach and pool. However, the unit was not very clean. The vents were very dirty, windows needed washing, and there was still a lot of dust. The first floor is nicely updated, but upstairs the carpet is very worn and the bathrooms need updates. The bar for the shower door made it difficult to get in and out of for the upstairs bathrooms. Also, we saw spiders, and one person in our group was bit. The property management was not responsive. We were never given the correct pool code. Also, our invoice had some unauthorized charges upon checkout.

Townhouse was quiet and clean, with comfy beds and fantastic location. Use of the golf cart was fun and perfect way to enjoy the resort. Never could find the garage door remote opener despite asking property management.

Sandestin, Not Destin

Not familiar with the area - would have preferred to book closer to Destin, where most of the activities and restaurants we wanted to go to were. Check-In was lengthy and with the Resort (not a homeowner). Numerous forms to sign and they wanted a credit card for "just in case". Insurance was bought so this wasn't necessary - plus VRBO already had this on file. Bellhop was called to lead us to the home within the resort - he got lost because the front desk left our critical information as to where the home was. Missed the first sunset because the check-in process was so lengthy and the bellhop incident. Home was as advertised, nicely decorated with beachy decor, but could use a better cleaning. Black finger prints on walls and doors. Ice machine ran all night long (noise kept us up) and didn't even produce any ice. Machine was broken, water was all over the floor and had to call maintenance. Kitchen was nice to have but scarce in its supplies. The one dishcloth provided was used to mop up soaked floor - and luckily we purchased paper towels for the rest. Resort felt safe and the beach was nice, but crowded due to the adjacent Hotel resort taking up all of the beachfront with its rental chairs. A golf cart was provided with this home but it is very limited as far as where it can get you (Sandestin Resort only). All-In-All a good vacation was had, but will definitely chose a different location if we come back.
