Staff polite and helpful, room was spotless and close to beach and local amenities

Highly recommend Beachside Resort. The room was spacious, clean and had lovely sea views with good amenities. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool too. The Resort is close to Kawana Shopping World and to a beautiful beach and scenic walks. Julie (Manager) and her team were amazing. Julie was so helpful. LOVED IT HERE!! Apartment was amazing. So much space, the bathroom had a jet bath which was such a nice surprise. Laundry detergent and dish soap included etc, had everything we needed there including a washer and tumble dryer, all the appliances in the kitchen. Staff were so friendly at reception. Local area nice, walking distances to amenities. Would stay there again. We loved it

We were super impressed with the First Light Resort. The cleanliness was a 10/10. The view was amazing, as were the facilities in the unit. The location was excellent, easy walking distance to the beach and shops. There were Covid safe practices in place for using lifts and check in. Hand sanitiser available in public areas. We would highly recommend staying here. Staff very friendly too.

Great accommodation, facilities and location

Absolutely stunning. Couldn’t fault it.

Good clean property. Modern. Good carpark. Trolleys for your luggage. Balcony. Pool - but the beach is seconds away so why use it? Only downside was there’s no oven or dishwasher.

We had a lovely stay at Cilento Maloolaba - wished we’d had longer! We were a family of 5 adults - the lovely receptionist welcomed us with a fruit cake and cherries as it was Christmas- such a nice gesture The apartment had plenty of room for us all and a large terrace which was great for morning coffee’s and evening glasses of wine and card games The location of the apartment is very central for all of the bar’s & restaurants and the beach and the establishments on the back waterways...

Very well equipped accom. Large and spacious. In a great position to access bars and restaurants. Only downside is the road noise - but this is 'normal' all along coastal resorts.

Lots of building work going on around

I have stayed here many times over several years and the main reasons are the proximity to the Sunshine Plaza for shopping, groceries, cinema etc as well as the great pool. The apartments are always clean and reasonably stocked with kitchen items. There used to be a great view over the golf course but that has now gone and the land is being developed. No noise impact at the moment but there might be in the future. The one bedroom apartments don't have an oven but the two bedroom places do....

Loved staying there great location to the beach.. room lovely and clean.
