The apartment is located in a stone house, completed in 2021, about 7 minutes walk from the beach. They live in a small village in southern Crete, about 60 km from the island's capital, Heraklion. The 60 square meter apartment on the upper floor offers 2 bedrooms with a double bed and two single beds, a spacious living room with fireplace, sofa bed and open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an electronic oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and cooking utensils. You can use the roof terrace with sea view for free. The house is absolutely quiet. A rental car is recommended.

Great location, but needs a little work
1) The house is close to the beach (.3k), and easy to access and park at; 2) The contact person, Gabriela, was very kind; 3) The downstairs guest, Andrea, was a terrific neighbour; 4) The yard and area was clean and well cared for; 5) I so needed the chips and water when I arrived - greatly appreciated! Suggestions: A) The mattress for so hard I used all the bed pillows in the apartment to lay on or I couldn't sleep B) The listing should explain better that the house has 2 apartments. C) There was no sound insulation and every noise between the apartments could be heard. Does not feel private; D) It would be helpful to have a sheet of information that renters could use to understand the internet access, deal with trash, find local grocers, restaurants, farmers' markets. Thank you!

Eine nicht perfekte Urlaubsunterkunft
Leider ist der Funke bei dieser Ferienwohnung nicht auf uns übergesprungen.Wir waren entäuscht von der Lage,die man als sehr abseits gelegen bezeichnen kann. Die Zufahrt erfolgt über eine Schotterpiste, hier wäre ein geländegängiges Fahrzeug von Vorteil,aber bitte nicht zu groß, da die Einfahrt sehr schmal ist. Es gibt direkte Nachbarn und ein brachliegendes Gelände davor,dort wird ein Hund an der Kette gehalten,der Nachts die Nachtruhe .Die Infrastruktur ist mäßig, es gibt Tavernen und 2 Mini-Märkte.Das Sortiment ist überschaubar und nicht gerade günstig,Butter für 4,60 € als Beispiel.Daher ehr bei der Anfahrt mit Lebensmitteln eindecken. Die Wohnung ist spartanisch eingerichtet.Der Kühlschrank sehr klein,das Wasser aus dem Eisfach tropfte die Lebensmittel im Kühlschrank nass.Die Küche enthält das notwendigste.Wir mussten leider erst Mal die Kaffeemaschine säubern,der Filter enthielt noch Reste vom Vormieter.Die Ablage am Spülbecken war total verkalkt,müsste mal gereinigt werden,auch der Wasserkocher sah innen nicht mehr einladend aus,total verkalkt.Das liegt sicher am vorhanden kalkhaltigen Wasser,sollte aber bei der Reinigung ins Auge fallen. Es waren Flecken auf dem Tischläufer, auf den 2 weißen Stühlen beim Sofa,der Fußboden hatte Flecken,obwohl laut der Vermieterin gründlich gereinigt wird.Die Toilette war schmutzig,der Duschkopf verkalkt,Wasser spritzte nach allen Seiten. Betten schlecht, Auflage verdreckt, Bretter als Lattenrost.Klimanlage nur im Wozi.Sind abgereist

Schöne Wohnung in Tsoutsourous
Schöne Wohnung in der 1. Etage, darüber eine tolle Dachterasse. Als wir da waren war die Erdgeschosswohnung frei. Ideal für 2 Personen, 4 gehen aber auch. Alles freundlich und sehr unkompliziert, die Vermieterin beantwortet Fragen sehr schnell. Alles da was wir brauchten. Unten ein kleiner Kräutergarten. Schlüssel haben wir bei Kostas (Zorbas Taverne) abgeholt, sehr netter Wirt der gerne Zeit mit seinen Gästen verbringt und Tipps hat. Hier kann mensch gut und günstig essen und trinken und dabei die Aussicht genießen und sich unterhalten. Wir waren Ende März in Tsoutsourous, Vorsaison, und es waren sehr wenige Touristen da. Gut zum Entspannen und erholen. (wenige) Wanderungen in der Nähe möglich, gemütlicher Strand, "überall" Ziegen, Schafe und natürlich Katzen. Auf dem Balkon vor der Wohnung stand eine Schale für Katzenfutter, die haben wir immer gefüllt und hatten Besuch von sehr süßen unaufdringlichen Katzen. Tsoutsourous ist umgeben vom Meer und von Bergen, ein Auto ist erforderlich wenn mensch mehr entdecken will. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und erholsame Woche.

Salzluft und rauer Wind
Alle Menschen, die uns begegnet sind waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir besuchten Tsoutsouros im März, da war es noch relativ frisch und windig von den Bergen her und einsam von den Leuten her... Für mich persönlich war das aber genau die richtige Atmosphäre: die karge felsige Landschaft mit stacheligen Thymiansträuchern durch die Ziegen streifen. Das Meer war frisch aber schwimmbar. In Danielas Haus konnten wir dann ein Feuerchen im Kamin machen. Es ist ein schönes Steinhaus am Ortsrand mit einer Dachterasse, von der man das Meer sieht, und noch sehr neu. Die Gegend in der es steht ist authentisch und keinesfalls touristisch. In ein paar Minuten ist man am Meer oder in der Taverne Costas, der Wirt und Poststation und Auskunftsstelle in einem ist. Mein Highlight war das Rumklettern auf den Felsen an der Küste und Salz sammeln.

Ruhe und schönes Ambiente
Schönes Haus mit gemütlicher Einrichtung. Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert für einen Strandurlaub an einem ruhigen Ort. Für Wanderungen und Sightseeing muss man aber etwas weitere Autofahrten einplanen.

Sehr schönes, sauberes Haus!
Das Haus war so wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe: schön, sauber, coole Terrasse! Die Bepflanzung war noch nicht weit fortgeschritten, und das Haus am Rande einer Streusiedlung. Das Internet war etwas holperig. Im Oktober war der Ort bereits ziemlich ausgestorben und meinen Kindern war es zu langweilig. Aber ich fand es sehr schön für ein paar ruhige Tage. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Urlaub in Tsoutsouros
Unser erster Familienurlaub auf Kreta in Danielas Fewo. Daniela war sehr hilfsbereit und kümmerte sich zeitnah um aktuelle Angelegenheiten. Die Schlüsselübergabe verlief reibungsfrei. Die Wohnung selbst liegt am Rand von Tsoutsouros, einem gemütlichen Ort in Südost-Kreta. Auch die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet, teilweise etwas spartanisch. Aber man hat alles, was man benötigt (in der Wohnung selbst ist leider keine Waschmaschiene). Ein lieben Dank an Daniela, dass wir auch durch ihr Zuhause einen gemütlichen, entspannten Urlaub genießen durften.
