This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom lakefront home has everything you need for an amazing getaway. This home is in the town of Tonka Bay, just 3 miles to all the shops and restaurants of downtown Excelsior and Wayzata. It sits right on the water with sunset views of some of the most gorgeous bays on Lake Minnetonka. The home has its own dock to use for your water sports and adventuring on the lake during your stay. LAYOUT: This home comes with access allowed to its 3 car finished garage. The driveway is big enough for additional parking. The home has a master suite on the main floor, with its own en suite full bath with 2 sinks and a walk in shower. There is an additional bedroom on the main floor with a twin over full bunk bed perfect for a kids room, but comfortable enough for an additional adult couple. The living room boasts a newly remodeled modern décor, fireplace, and open floor plan with a large dining area and kitchen. The dining table sits 8 with additional seating at the kitchen island. The kitchen is newly remodeled with high end appliances, solid surface counter tops and a large island for hosting and gathering. The kitchen is fully stocked with a four-burner gas stove, dishwasher, and all the amenities needed for some gourmet cooking. The back of the home has a spacious three seasons room with comfortable seating to enjoy yet more views of the lake. The second floor has an additional two bedrooms, each with its own king bed, a loft area with its own reading nook, and an additional bonus room with extra sleeping space, games for kids, and a movie room. The bonus room is stocked with video games, board games, kids books, and plenty of space for the kids to play and enjoy themselves while leaving the rest of the house for the parents to enjoy. The second floor has its own deck with its own seating area to enjoy spectacular views of the lake. The home also has a third floor bonus room with 360 degree views of Lake Minnetonka. This vista room is set up to be used as an office, workout room, or sitting room. It’s the perfect place to catch up on some computer work, read, get a spin workout in, or enjoy a visit over a cup of coffee all while enjoying unbeatable views of the lake. This room also has yet another deck for more outdoor space and even higher views of the water. The home has high speed internet access and the large screen TVs are set up for all your entertainment apps that you need to unwind and enjoy your stay. The backyard boasts unbelievable views of Lake Minnetonka with a fully landscaped shoreline along some of the deepest and clearest parts of the lake. Bring your own boat, or rent from one of the several nearby marinas to enjoy. The owner will occasionally dock a boat on one side of the dock, and will on occasion access their boat. We opted for a lake property as my husband wanted to rent a boat. The house is beautifully decorated, fully stocked and quite spacious. We arrived at the end of boat season and unfortunately couldn’t find a rental. We spent a few days inside due to the rain and were kept entertained with the board games in the bonus room. Our family had a wonderful stay on the lake at this home right on the water. The views of the lake are fantastic and my daughters enjoyed their time on the dock, swimming in the lake, and out on the water on the boat that we rented. The home is spacious, which enabled everyone in our family to have their own bedroom and a place to unwind.
