If you are after an authentic Minneapolis experience in a vibrant historic neighborhood, book today! The Space: We have multiple CozySuites units in this building and each one is unique. Decor and layout may vary slightly from what you see in photos This cozy apartment is suitable for a family, group of friends, or business travelers. It has all of the amenities necessary to enjoy your stay. The Neighborhood: The Mill District, Minneapolis (also known as Downtown East) is re-emerging as the city's historical and cultural epicenter. The legendary flour mills which once dominated the St. Anthony Falls, have been given new life as many of the original buildings have been converted into elegant homes, and slick office space. Many of the historic buildings have transformed into cultural attractions with the Mill City Museum, Guthrie Theater, and MacPhail Center for Music, all taking up shop in the Mill District. Getting Around: Uber and Lyft drivers are everywhere. We find the location and downtown to be very walkable as well :) Other Things to Note: Please know that all CozySuites properties are smoke-free environments. Smoking, of any kind, is not permitted within or outside of our suites, including balconies, patios, or common and/or parking areas. Please know that any sign of smoking is a violation of our stay agreement, which may result in immediate termination and recovery fees beginning at $500. Noise policy: Guests must agree to not disturb neighbors at all times during the stay. In addition, guests must agree to observe quiet hours from 9pm-8am each day. The home is proactively monitored with decibel sensors for compliance with this noise policy. Long-term stays (30 days+): Long-term guests will be subject to a background search and credit check. Note that all guests are required to submit a $150 security hold on a credit card in case of incidentals that is released 3-5 days post check out or may choose a $35.00 non-refundable damage waiver. There are so many things to do and restaurants to try all within walking distance. We are both 70 years old and felt perfectly safe on foot; even at night. Our unit was a bit worn, but spotless and had everything we needed. Our only complaint is the furniture. The bed was squeaky and the mattress was very thin. The couch and side chair were both uncomfortable to sit in for very long. After a long day of sight seeing it would have been nice to have some comfortable seating (70 year old speaking here). Having said all that, we would definitely stay there again. Easy to work with property management. Reasonable priced. However, pool was closed the whole week I as there. Uncomfortable sofa, very squeaky bed, air conditioning blows directly onto bed all night. Halls smelled like cooking most of the time. Lobby often smelled of marijuana, although I never saw anyone smoking and all the neighbors I met were lovely.
