The hotel is located in a village not too far from the Ponte de lima town. Its a really quiet and quaint place but a beautiful place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff are absolutely lovely and are ready to assist where possible. Especially George who was very helpful and assisted and guided us to get to around to places we wanted to visit. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the surrounding were rural and very nice.

We stayed here while in Braga for a local wedding, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hosts were incredible – so kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel like part of their family from the moment we arrived. The house itself is stunning, full of character and history, with beautiful details that tell stories of generations past. This was the second time we stayed at Hotel Cotto do Gatto. It is truly a pet-friendly hotel where dogs are allowed in the breakfast area, restaurant, and pool area. My dog enjoyed sniffing around and making new dog friends. I especially loved the pool and good water pressure in the shower. The staff members were also very lovely and friendly.

We would give more than 5 stars if we could. The best dinner we had in Portugal.

Apartment newly refurbished, all clean and in excellent condition. Space in the apartment is limited, but well organised. On ground floor street noise is no problem.

Staff were very helpful and friendly and willing to assist with all our needs during our stay. The location of the hotel and size of rooms was great and the bathroom in particular was excellent.

Beautiful place for relaxation with family and pets

Wonderfully maintained and family owned eco property with a large pool and vineyard. The Vino Verde was crisp and refreshing. It was a lovely stay and would recommend it for a relaxing stop after sightseeing in Braga or any of the surrounding towns.

Really enjoyed our stay here, beautiful hotel and staff couldn’t do any more for you, so kind and great English which made our lives much easier. Easy to get into Braga and beyond. Breakfast was a bonus and nice to set you up for the day. Very clean and modern and the added bonus was the restaurant - exceptional!
