8.8/10 Excellent! (167 reviews)
We stay at the Cluanie Inn quite often as it is a handy stop off before taking the ferry to the Western Isles. It is always excellent. Really friendly and helpful staff, a good menu, especially the Indian food and the rooms are beautifully maintained and a good size, which is great if you have a big Labrador. Midge the Labrador loves the Cluanie Inn. We have stayed at all of the Black Sheep hotels, and I can't speak highly enough of them.

9.6/10 Exceptional! (18 reviews)
It was a challenge to get in contact with the host to get checkin instructions. We had to place an international call as they claim they could not communicate via Hotels.com. Everyone else I dealt with could. Parking was ok once we got into the unit and got the parking permit. Great location as restaurants shopping and sight seeing were all walkable.

"We really enjoyed having our own house for our group of 6 during our trip to Skye. 3 bedrooms - 2 with two twins and 1 with a queen. The sunroom in the back was a great gathering spot, and we also appreciated having a washer and dryer at this point in our trip. Easy to access house key and quick ..."

"A very well run hostel and very clean. Only drawback was the remote location and a slow drive on a single lane road to go anywhere,"
