Gorgeous views, quiet location, comfortable beds and accommodations. David and Katrina were friendly, helpful and they made amazing breakfasts! I loved Skye and wished we could have stayed longer. The night sky was spectacular...I saw the Milky Way for the first time and so many stars, oh and the aurora borealis (I live in Alaska so I'm used to those). Can't say enough good things about Foxwood!…Gorgeous views, quiet location, comfortable beds and accommodations. David and Katrina were friendly, helpful and they made amazing breakfasts! I loved Skye and wished we could have stayed longer. Comfortable stay…

The room was clean and comfortable but it was pretty warm in the room during the night. Couldn’t open the window because of the midges. Breakfast was excellent and our host was so knowledgeable about the sights that it really helped us see as much as possible in the two days that we had for sightseeing and hiking. We had a twin room with a shared bathroom and that worked out fine but if we were to stay again, we would want an ensuite bathroom. It was an easy walk to Portree for evening meals.…The room was clean and comfortable but it was pretty warm in the room during the night. Couldn’t open the window because of the midges. The view of this hotel is amazing, it's literally postcard view! Nice bar, restaurant, first class service and room is amazing too. The location is perfect as it's less than 10 minutes walk to Portree town and short drive to the main hiking attractions. I couldn't have chosen a better stay in this area, highly recommended!…
