This waterfront home in Mineral, Virginia, sleeps six with two bedrooms, a sofa bed and two full bathrooms. Inside, wood ceilings and connected living, dining and kitchen spaces bring the group together; the window-lined sitting area offers another place to unwind.

TWO LEVELS OF DECK AND A PRIVATE DOCK
Choose a chair on the broad deck to watch the water through the trees, set the outdoor table for lunch, or use the lower deck for another lake-facing perch. The gas grill sits beside the house so meals can move between the kitchen and deck.

Stairs behind the home lead down the wooded slope toward the waterfront and private dock. Spend some time at the shore, then return to the deck for a different view across the lake. Keep the stairs and sloping route in mind when choosing the home for your group. Guests do not have access to the boat lift.

If bringing a boat, contact us about current dock depth, mooring arrangements and boat fit before arrival. The guest binder has public-launch information for Anna Point Marina and HighPoint Marina. Confirm current access, hours and any fees directly with the marina.

A WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE AND SPACE TO GATHER
The main living room pairs leather seating with a stone wood-burning fireplace and TV. Bring firewood if you would like to use the fireplace; it is not supplied. The open layout connects this gathering area with the kitchen and indoor dining table, so the cook can stay part of the conversation.

The full kitchen has a refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher, with counter space and breakfast-bar seating for company while meals come together. Choose the indoor dining table beside the windows or carry dinner out to the deck.

TWO BEDROOMS, A SITTING AREA AND TWO FULL BATHROOMS
One bedroom has a queen bed. The other has a king bed and an adjoining window-lined sitting area with a sofa bed, providing the additional sleeping arrangement for up to six guests. Use that sitting area for a quiet book or a separate conversation away from the main living room.

Both full bathrooms have showers; one also has a tub. The bathroom with the tub also has a double vanity and a separate glass shower.

Wi-Fi, air conditioning and an in-home washer and dryer cover everyday needs. The driveway has parking for four vehicles, with additional space for trailers. Pets are not allowed.
