The location is unbeatable though getting there by public transport may be a challenge. We drove and there was enough parking even though it was shared with beach-goers. The hotel itself has only two spots by its entrance.Service was excellent and check-in was quick and efficient. While the hotel is not new, it is more than made up by its amenities and room views, and what views we had!! Kaimondake was right across the bay and sunset and sunrise was visible from our little balcony. Surf and waves can be seen and heard all along the coast and it was pure magic. We also enjoyed the (shared) hot spring bath which was inside the ryokan. Breakfast was included in our rates and it was excellent Japanese fare.
