This classic Victorian home in the heart of downtown Milwaukee has all the modern amenities yet transports you back to a time when Milwaukee's beer barons were setting up the breweries that would make Milwaukee famous. Along with their brewing knowledge, these German immigrants imported the best craftsmen from the old country to build their stately manors. You'll see the intricate woodwork and detailing that can no longer be duplicated without spending a fortune. Paneled pocket doors, two-toned finished hardwood floors, thick crown moldings, majestic staircases, antique brass chandeliers and fancy latticework will surround you as you relax in this beautiful home.
There is space for everybody to get comfortable in the two sitting parlors. The large wood-carved table in the formal dining room will bring you together to enjoy a memorable meal. The spacious kitchen has all the latest appliances to create your culinary masterpieces. And there is seating galore for the cook's audience and helpers.
Everyone will sleep in a comfortable bed. Five bedrooms can accommodate couples and one bedroom can sleep up to 5 kids or single people.

The hosts were great! Communicated well, and made the stay very easy. The house is large and comfortable, and worked well for our group of 12. It is not elegant, and there are only two full baths, but it has everything you need, and is located close to grocery stores, making it easy for us to pick up anything we needed.
