Welcome! This lovely home is one of the only houses on Broadkill Beach that boasts unobstructed views and private access to both the Delaware Bay and the breathtaking Primehook National Wildlife Refuge.

Come and rest or play at your leisure...celebrate life, family and friends. Enjoy quiet walks on the beach or pour yourself into a good book on our screened in porch overlooking the reserve....escape the stresses of the daily grind while sipping your morning joe or evening cocktail on one of our two bay-facing decks...cook your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen, but don’t forget to stop and take in the breathtaking sunsets. Fish off your private dock, or enjoy a friendly game of shuffle board or ping pong. Animals are welcome, so don’t forget to spoil your fur-baby at this relaxing home away from home.

Broadkill Beach is incredibly family friendly and offers an array of fun activities from fishing, golfing, and biking to water sports. If decadent restaurants, quaint little shops or laid back breweries are your interest, you’re certain to enjoy the nearby towns of Milton, Lewes, Rehoboth, and Dewey Beach.

After whatever your day brings, retreat to our beachfront bungalow, put your feet up, and doze off to the soothing sounds of the water and nature surrounding you. We have a cozy pull-out sofa bed and three inviting bedrooms (one king, one queen, and two sets of twin-over-full bunk beds), including a master suite equipped with a gas burning fireplace to cuddle near on those chilly nights.

There are two full baths, or if you prefer the great outdoors take advantage of our outdoor shower, especially pleasant to wash off the salt and sand of the day.

While we try to provide all the comforts of home that we can, guests are required to bring their own linens, towels, soap and paper products.

Love this house!

We love this house! The back screen porch is a secret hideaway. The views are unparalleled and we love the layout and all the gates. The gates kept the dog where we wanted them and were so convenient. Thank you for such a great birthday weekend!

Stunning property and views. Short walk to a nearly private beach. Easy drive to Milton, Lewes, or Rohoboth for dining and activities. Our toddler had an absolute blast and we can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful wetland views .. and bay too!

Well appointed home, as the pictures describe. Lots of room to sprawl out on main/upper floor. Great front and rear decks and screened porch from which we saw ospreys hunt, herons stalk, and much other bird life. Comfortable beds.

Gem on the beach!

You won’t find a more charming place or host. The house has everything guests would want for their stay and if there’s anything needed Renee will make sure it’s taken care of for you. If you’re looking for a boardwalk and shops, it’s a few miles away. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility, a short walk to the beach, and the ability to relax, you’ve found the right place!

Beautiful & serene views

My partner & I spent a long weekend here with our 2 small furbabies. It was the much needed respite we needed from a very stressful & busy period in our lives. Just Perfect

This was the perfect stay for our annual Broadkill vacation. Renee has it decorated so beautifully that it compliments the nature all around. Multiple decks and porches allow for the perfect reading, coffee, or cocktail spot. The views from either side of the house are breathtaking. The garage was stocked with everything you would need for the beach. The open floor plan kitchen/living room is set up for those that like to cook on vacation but don’t want to miss out! We’ve been coming to Broadkill for 20 years and the whole family says this was the best!

A lovely week at Broadkill Beach

We - 4 adults 1 four year old - had an absolutely delightful week in this lovely Broadkill Beach Home. The owner was very responsive and the house was even better than described. It was clean and well equipped and had beautiful views of the beach and the marsh, sunrise and sunset, porches galore, all the beach equipment imaginable, bikes and so much more. The beach is clean and quiet but a short drive to Rehobeth or Lewes. It was our first visit to Broadkill Beach be we hope not our last!

Beautiful beach getaway!

The home was beautiful, very well equipped and so convenient to the beach. The views of the bird sanctuary in the back are spectacular and the screened in porch was a favorite gathering spot. The hosts provide all the beach things you can imagine. There are many fun games for indoor time and we all had a blast. Biting flies were a bit of a torment, we’ll have to research some techniques for dealing with them before our next visit (which we eagerly anticipate).

Peaceful and beautiful!

This rental house and location was food for the soul! The views from the house are indeed, beautiful, peaceful and made the vacation joyful. The host is amazing, responsive and her information was on point. She had some good referrals for restaurants and the house had all the amenities needed for a home away fro home feel. We would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning! I will carry the views from the decks (many to choose from) with me always. Thank you!

Great home in great location!

We had a wonderful stay on Broadkill Beach! The home is clean and nicely decorated, has amazing views, and the location couldn't be better, with direct access to the beach and canal. They had plenty of beach chairs as well as toys and games to keep everyone busy. There were a lot of recent upgrades to the home which made it a very pleasant stay. The swinging daybed in the screened in porch was a big hit with my family! The owners Renee and Eric were very easy to work with and responded quickly to questions. We will definitely look to stay again in the future!

The perfect beachfront property for families

My family and I recently spent our vacation here and it surpassed all of my expectations. This place is a paradise! The house itself is stunning, with beautiful design and breathtaking views. The interior is tastefully decorated and most importantly, everything was very clean, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The amenities in this house are top-notch. They really thought of everything. They had plenty of things for the kids to play with as well as everything we needed for the beach. The shuffleboard table was a really nice touch in the main entertaining area. But the best part is the view. The large windows and balconies provide a great views of ocean in the front and the wildlife preserve in the back. The beach is just steps away, and it's one of the cleanest and most peaceful I've ever seen. The kids had a blast having most of the beach to themselves. Renee was a great host and her attention to detail and hospitality were exceptional. Leading up to our stay she provided us with everything we needed to know, things to do in the area, and even places to eat. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect place to unwind and recharge.

Wonderful stay at Broadkill Beach.

My family and I stayed at this great property at Broadkill Beach in the middle of March 2023. The pictures of the property are an accurate representation of this amazing home. Thank you Renee for your prompt communication and opening this property to us. The home is tastefully decorated and very inviting. More amenities to keep you entertained are provided. Great views from the Delaware bay in the front of the house to the nature preserve to the rear of the house. It’s like being in two places at one time. The private access to the beach in short walking distance was very convenient. We took advantage and had a great campfire on the beach underneath the sky full of stars. The community was quiet and slightly off the beaten path (which we appreciate). The fantastic decks provide relaxing views. I can’t say enough good points about this property. Most importantly, Renee’s property allowed for my wife and daughter to completely unwind and relax and that alone was worth the stay. Almost forgot, we were able to bring our fur baby with us keeping our pack intact. Thanks for being dog friendly. The only con I could think of would be the amount of stairs, which wasn’t a problem for us, but could be limiting to elderly or persons with mobility issues. But without the stairs, you wouldn’t be able to capitalize on the fantastic views. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again. It was a great stay. Thanks again Renee.

Outstanding!

This property is very special in many ways. The location, above all - the view of the ocean on one side and the view of the wildlife marsh on the other side, like another beautiful ocean, was just spectacular. Watching the wind sweep the high grass and the changing colors of the preserve, and the meandering canal - magical and calming. A very short walk to the beach. Many other things - the owner could not have been more helpful or more responsive. She was amazing and questions and concerns were addressed immediately. The house is beautiful in its interior design, just as it appears in the photos. In this time of Covid, we did almost all our cooking at the house, and the kitchen was wonderfully well equipped, the best of any house we've rented and we have rented many. The whole house was well provisioned and well appointed. The screened porch was a delight. Many thoughtful touches, like keypad entry, and great beach chairs and and a good sound system and plenty of TVs. Also plenty of kiddie stuff available - beach toys and kiddie bikes, although happily we are past that stage. The house is in a quiet area, which we much prefer, and at this time of year (early October) the beach was blissfully quiet. It is just a short car ride to visit the charming towns of Lewes or Bethany. The one downside was that there is no connection to the regional bike trails , but we still did plenty of biking, as well as kayaking. Sad to see our vacay end.
