Conveniently located minutes from historic Nelsonville. A short drive to the famers market, restaurants and breweries of Athens, and hiking in the Wayne or\\ the Hocking Hills - featuring Ash Cave, Old Mans Cave and a variety of other waterfalls and caves. Both trail heads for the Baileys Trail System (Chauncey and Doanville) are located within a few short miles, with the trails running closely to the cabin. The Space This is a cozy little cabin snuggled in the ridges of Wayne National Forest. The cabin has a kitchenette with a dining area, two loft sleeping areas, welcoming common area with a wood burning stove. Enjoy the view overlooking the hills while having a fire right outside the front door off the front deck. Guest Access Our guests privacy is extremely important to us. You can enjoy the quite and secluded space as a single occupancy cabin with your people. Parking at the cabin requires 4WD/AWD. Don't worry if not, you can have access to a private parking spot and shuttling to the cabin. Hunting Hunting on the property is permissable only with pre approval. We are bordered on by the Wayne National Forest, which allows public hunting. Please message for more information Other things to note: SHOWER HOUSE There is a newly built shower house available to our guests! This modern, clean and comfortable space is located near the cabin. We offer comfy towels and washclothes, just bring your personal toiletries. There is a compost toilet in the cabin for your convenience. The cabin is near tons of outdoor activities like hiking and swimming. Hocking Hills is beautiful. The cabin was very clean and the host went above and beyond with hospitality. There are tons of extras like a water cooler with hot water on tap, coffee, creamer, even marshmallow roasters. If you are looking for something between camping and staying at a hotel then this cabin is perfect. You can have a camp fire in the evening and still enjoy air conditioning.
