This place is at the back of a bowling alley. Had to sheep bags up 3 floors - no elevator. Rooms tiny Breakfast was poor, no hot food

Dear Customer,We have rooms on the ground floor. You had the possibility to request a change of room. We remind you that the composition of our breakfast buffet is displayed at the reception. Breakfast is not a meal with hot cooked dishes but remains an all-you-can-eat French buffet as indicated in our documentation.

Great value
Located behind the bowling alley, the Hotel du Bowling offers clean, comfortable no-frills accommodation for a reasonable price. Staff were friendly, room was a good size, shower was good. Secure parking on site. And there is dining conveniently located in the bowling alley next door. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Room was cramped and uncomfortable. Reception was at bowling alley/bar/arcade/restaurant, so they were very busy and this made my interaction with hotel staff to be a bit awkward during check in. Restaurant food is tasty. Town is definitely worth exploring as well (with caverns nearby). Hotel is a fine fit if you are very budget conscious.

Good hotel but request you choice of room
First floor room looking out over millau and the beautiful scenery. Air conditioning system was good .room very clean if dated. Breakfast was good but breakfast room was small so seating at a premium when busy. However the ground floor rooms have no Windows in the bedroom and the upper rooms to the rear have a view of mr bricolage Reception is in the bowling alley next door or by electric entry machine out of hours Has its own restaurant but not tried although many guests did Large geant supermarket close by also a buffalo grill within walking distance Best to request an upper floor front room for the fantastic view in the morning

Interesting Stopover at Millau happy to stay again
This was a first stay at Hotel du Bowling as an overnight to Spain we rated it a good experience and liked secure parking and excellent free wifi. The accommodation block was separate from the Bowling Complex with dedicated parking rooms were well prepared and satisfactory onlydownside no English TV channel but for one night not a problem. The breakfast was typical French continental and adequate good selection but no toaster. A limited reasonably priced menu was available in the adjacent Bowling Centre and drinks were reasonably priced in the bar. Millau is an interesting town/location we thought worth spending some time looking around would probably stop two nights next time passing through and happy to stat at this hotel.

Quiet and secure hotel.
Hotel was a seperate block from the restaurant/admin building. It was comfortable, very reasonable and had the bare minimum of facilities - eg: no drinks facilities. Still it had all we needed for a pleasant stay. The restaurant was good and there was a big well-equipped bar in it.

The hotel looked good as you check in to the hotel at the counter, right next to the 10 pin bowling alley. Nice busy bar and the alleys were all in use.As a former 10 pin bowling addict I was pleased to be there. However as my wife and I both have limited mobility. (and having asked for blue badge parking and ground floor or near a lift, we were shown to a second floor room with no lift to the floor. I did however ask if we could be moved, and was told 'Sorry No' I really struggled to take our cases up the four flights of stairs, and when I went back down to help my wife upstairs she struggled (just like myself) to make it to the top. I then went back to the reception desk and talked this time to a very helpful lady about our situation. Instantly she picked up a set of keys to another room and showed us to a Ground floor accessible room. If only she had checked us in at the start we might have had a better impression of the hotel. As to the room we now had, it was OK.not the cleanest, bur passable. Loose toilet seat which was very awkward. But we were saved the climb we would have had. Afraid though we would not return to this hotel.

Decor was very dated and was astounded that no smoke detectors were in the bedroom. Heavy smell of stale cigarette smoke in bedroom.

We are so sorry that you find that people do not respect the smoking ban in the rooms. You should have asked us to change rooms upon arrival and the smell of tobacco. Thank you for staying here.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay with a clean room, friendly staff and a comfortable bed, then this is the place to stay. The restaurant nearby does excellent food too, recommendeed!

Great hotel with a view of the Millau Bridge.
This hotel was in a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great value for money, rooms were clean and tidy and it was quiet at night. Onsite secure parking was a bonus.

Good value hotel in Millau
We are a family of 4 with 2 young children. We stayed one night at this hotel in Millau, as we wanted to explore the region. The hotel provides good value. Our room was nice and clean, with a large bathroom. Nothing fancy but they don't pretend otherwise. We went to the Campanile hotel beside for dinner (the proximity of the Campanile makes me think it used to be a Premiere Classe hotel). There is a bowling place beside it, same ownership, kids enjoyed it. Would go back.

Terrific value for money
What a complete contrast with Paris very good quality food in restaurant at very reasonable prices. Complete 3 course meal for less than price of one course in Paris. Surrounding area has much history and sights to see including Millau Viaduct. Only problem we had was could not locate hotel on my GPS so found it hard to find once arrived in Millau. Suggest web site or hotel posts long and lat details for GPS.

What a surprise
This was booked as a quick stopover on our way back from Spain. We had been to Millau to look at the bridge before and it is a lovely area well worth a longer stop. The hotel is just portakabins in need of a refurbish as the curtains were rotten and the towels frayed otherwise the room was fresh and clean. What it excelled in was a good meal in the restaurant adjacent to the bowling alley where reception is based. Followed by live music and ballroom dancing to rival "Strictly". About 60 locals on the floor for every dance. This was a Thursday night so cant speak for other nights. We had a great evening and a good nights sleep. Usual continental breakfast which was fine.

For an over night stop the hotel is fine. It is convenient to the motorway but not really within walking distatance of the town.We didnt like the look of the restraurant which is in the bowling complex, so went to the next door hotel for a meal.

Great for a one night stop over!
After a 10 hour drive from Southern Spain, and needing a good nights sleep before hitting the road to Calais the next day, we were a little concerned when we were given rooms closest to the Bowling Alley. However, the rooms were very quiet, clean, and fresh and the bed linen and towels spotlessly white. Reception and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant food good, but only thing on childrens menu was chicken nuggets and chips! Breakfast at 6 euros was disappointing, but filled a gap. We would definitely stop over here again.
