"Breakfast menu was terrible. Halls and elevator smelled like marijuana everyday. Had to go down to the front desk to get towels. Kids running around the halls early in the morning and late at night. "

"We stayed here for my daughters' dance competition, which was at a local high school nearby, and one thing I can say about this area is that there is sooooo much shopping, dining, and entertainment nearby. The location was fantastic and very convenient for everything we needed. We primarily chose this hotel because they start serving breakfast at 6 AM, whereas many hotels either start at 7 AM or don’t offer breakfast at all. Since we had to leave by 6:15 AM, this ended up being an extremely helpful feature for us. I did request a quiet area of the hotel because of our early wake-up time. While I understand the staff can’t control every guest, the walls felt thin. There was a group of adults partying and hanging out in the hallway late at night, and around 11:30 PM I finally stepped out and politely asked them to move into their room instead of loitering in the hallway. They were respectful and did go inside, but I could still hear laughing and partying until almost 1:30 AM, so while this wasn’t necessarily a reflection of the hotel at all, it definitely reflected how little sound insulation there was between rooms and hallways. I did ask other friends, who stayed at other hotels if they had similar issues and they did say that they got little sleep as well due to nosey people, so perhaps this is just common among weekend stays in this town. Overall, the location and early breakfast were major positives. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. "

"The location of the hotel was great for us. It has a SPECTACULAR view of the Connecticut State Capital and the surrounding green space. Be sure to ask for the view room, as this was what made the stay worthwhile. It was a 10 minute walk to Dunkin Park, a minor league baseball stadium. Attending an event there was the reason for our stay. The adjacent neighborhood is not great. The hotel, while clean, is old and not in top condition. The room itself had been updated, but the bathroom showed a lot of wear."

"Mostly everything was good except housekeeping never got my trash and never came to get my used towels and replace them with clean ones and I stayed Friday- Monday morning, I never used the sign saying not to come in so I’m unsure why so I had to ask at the front desk every time. Lastly the Cabot under the sink had some unknown debris that could have easily been stepped but house keeping is clearly skipping over and it’s so apparent when opening the cabinet."
