While the property commands immense praise for its character, an honest appraisal requires acknowledging the realities of nineteenth-century construction. Maintaining an 1891 structure to the antiseptic tolerances of a newly minted tower is practically impossible, which informed a tempered four-star score in maintenance, alongside a minor deduction in amenities for quaint historic quirks like my brief search for the ice machine. Urban connectivity is equally compelling, situated just blocks from Coors Field and Union Station.
