When we came back two hours later, the Clean Up Please sign was still showing on our door and there was a basket of towels etc near the door. There was someone in the linen closet near the lift. We were confused: were they about to do the room? Why had it not been done while we were away? - surely one of the reasons for handing in the key cards.
