Weekend Visit to Port Royal Speedway

Nice property. Great location for a weekend of racing at the speed palace. Size of the house allowed us to spread out and offered plenty of sleeping options. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome house and awesome amountof space

Property was gorgeous, old farmhouse with plenty of room for the kids to play and parents socialize. Beds were comfy too!! Highly recommend!!!

Great weekend getaway

We had a great time at the river house. Beautiful setting on the river, plenty of space, and lots to do. The covered outdoors area, fire pit, grill, pickleball / shuffle board court, and wide open back yard made it easy to spend most of our time having fun outside. Definitely recommend!

Great experience!

We stayed with friends and our kids. Great place! Cool old farm house right on the river. The grocery store is right near by and there was plenty to do for the kids inside the house. Thanks for the great stay!

We stayed for the weekend to attend the races at Port Royal Speedway. The house was conveniently located close to the track but far enough to enjoy the country setting.

Enjoyed our stay!

Great spot to stay, very convenient location to wedding venue. Enjoyed the back porch and kitchen to visit. Bedroom setup was perfect for our multi/family stay (3 couples, 1 young child). 2 1/2 baths worked well too. Elvin’s communication was just fine!

Vacation with family

Very peaceful and relaxing. Great kitchen, home was very clean. This was my first time renting a home. I would rent it again in the future. Great place for a wedding, family reunion or just a vacation.

Lovely property, could use a few updates

The property was beautiful and it was interesting to stay in a home with so much history. The interior had a problem with black flies in the kitchen and the upstairs bathrooms felt very dated. The location was perfect for a family wedding.

AMAZING!!!

This was our second time staying. Our weather was 100% better and we got to enjoy the entire property this time. The addition of the cement area for shuffle board, pickle ball, and bags was a fantastic surprise. The host is great at communicating, highly recommend!!

Beautiful Property

We were a group of 8 adults that take a trip every fall together. We all enjoyed the house. The property is amazing with a huge back yard for outdoor games. We loved being along the river and although it rained most of our trip we enjoyed the ginormous covered back porch to still spend time outdoors.

This property is fantastic and in a great location. The house is well kept and the surrounding property is beautiful. The inside of the home is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. There are 2.5 bathrooms and they are adequate for a larger crowd. Communication with the owner was super simple and he is very nice. My family loved our stay and would love to visit again in the future!

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at Elvin’s place. We had a small wedding ceremony and reception. Elvin was quick and responsive from the very beginning. The house is just as pictured and the views are even more beautiful in person. We are looking forward to being able to celebrate our wedding anniversary there hopefully for years to come!

PA Wedding Weekend

We came to Mifflintown to attend a family wedding, and this spacious old farmhouse was just right for us. The huge country kitchen was a perfect gathering spot, there were lots and lots of beds, and our grandsons enjoyed the large backyard and going down to see the river. We even surprised an eagle out of a tree at the rivers edge.

Family Vacation at the River

We've been coming to the Juniata River on vacation with our family for almost 30 years. This year we had 4 generations altogether!! The house was perfect! Gave us room to spread out when we wanted to, lots of activities to keep us busy, and privacy upstairs when we needed it!! The river was low, but fishing was still good. We'll definitely be back.

Wedding weekend

We rented this to stay for the weekend. My daughter was married at the winery. This place was amazing. Anything we could have wanted, lots of space indoor and out, 3 refrigerators, folding tables and chairs, Cornhole and lots more. It was a great place for family friends and fellowship. Owner was super responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality time with family and friends

Relaxing Respite

We enjoyed so much about this property! From its spacious & pleasant interior to the peaceful surroundings outdoors. I was able to relax & take pictures of the many beautiful wildflowers down near the river while my husband spent a couple of hours fishing! We cooked a delicious dinner outside using the grill out on the awesome back porch. This was a very short but much needed break & hope to be coming back to enjoy this amazing property with our kids & grandkids! Elvin & Charlotte were kind & generous hosts & we highly recommend this lovely property!

Great house

Beautiful and spacious property. We used this for our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding pictures, bridal suite, etc. it had plenty of room for out of town family and friends. The kids appreciated the outside area and game room. The upstairs rooms were a little warm at night, could use a few fans! Plenty of space and utensils in kitchen. Enough towels and blankets. Great location on the river! Elvin is responsive and kind. The Clark Family appreciates you letting us use your wonderful home!
