"the hotel is starting to look a little tired, one would expect a Hilton Garden Inn to be in better shape. We've stayed here a few times over the last 3 years and we continue to see the same issues. The windows have a reflective coating on the outside I think to help keep the sun brightness down on the inside. And this coating is cracking, peeling etc and it makes the windows look like they are cracked and shattered in many places. Not a good look. Overall a good place to stay in the Solomon MD area,.. a real good restaurant is a 1 minute walk from the hotel front door. And, why is this hotel charging for parking? They have a huge parking lot, this is something that really turns us off. Come on!"

"Very clean room with the usual amenities (refrigerator, microwave, guest safe for valuables). Pool and workout room. Nice desk staff, very helpful. Location is convenient to local restaurants, shops and Patuxent River Naval Air Station (we were there for the 2026 air show). Outside the base gate there is an excellent museum. This hotel is located within minutes of these and many local restaurants."

"My whole family lives in the ranch club, so I was so excited to see an affordable weekend rental close to all the places I like to be when I’m in Lusby. This property was clean, bigger than I expected, and had everything we could possibly need. The host was fantastic and communicative from start to finish. Can’t wait to stay here again."

"This property is absolutely beautiful! A short drive to many things. Our kids had a blast with the wildlife and kayaks. I would recommend older children as the water is right at the house and easily accessible for small children. We plan to return in the future once we are out of the toddler stage! We enjoyed a very peaceful, quiet stay. The host was very attentive and checked in multiple times."

"The lake house was perfect for our family reunion (six adults). We had everything we needed to enjoy meals at the house, with beautiful sunset lake views to enjoy while dining. The location was great for quick access to attractions such as Flag Ponds Park, Cove Point Lighthouse, Solomons Island, etc. All of the bedrooms were comfortable (with plenty of extra beds for parties larger than six.) We really appreciated the unique setting and well-stocked kitchen. We all had a great time!"
