Mid Island Holidays from £871

Front desk staff was unsure if I would pay deposit for license Service Dog. He was telling all kinds of things that did not apply. My room had roaches coming from shower drain. Tried washing them down and they would be back up. Gross. They told me they were palmetto bugs. Still not something I want to see when showering. Then at check out. I had the same non knowable staff member who wanted to Charge me more than Expedia said I own the property. I showed the clerk Expedia receipt. I left the hotel not closing my bill because I was not paying it. Watch out when booking online and paying at hotel!!

The room is clean and has old new works charm. Loved the gas fire lanterns outside. Very cool. The room was clean and modern. If noise bothers you, I recommend that you don’t get a room facing the street. I would assume that the River side is quieter. I absolutely would recommend this place and would stay here again.

The room was adequate and was way overpriced for what it should have been. There was a $45.00 per day parking fee which was assessed to "park on their property". There were also signs posted which suggested that they were not responsible for any theft to vehicles or damage, although they still charged $45.00 per day. Pretty rediculous as far as I was concerned. Why then was there a $45.00 fee. I had three charges on my credit card for $8.88 which did not show on their bill upon checkout, but appeared on my credit card. When I asked what they were for, I was told they would fall off in three to four days. Two have, there is still one remaining. They could not explain what the charges were for when asked. We stayed for three days and the stay was all right, but I would not consider it any different than any other hotel other than it was on the riverwalk, but all the way at the end and some distance to walk rather than being immediately accessible. Would I stay there again, probably not. I expected more for the money than what was provided.

Our stay was delightful! The bed was comfortable and the location was close to lots of interesting places to explore. Recommended!
